Dh gave me my anniversary gift because he said it would look good with the dress I'm wearing to the wedding today:

Thanks, I was totally surprised. (Our anniversary is on Monday.) I really like the story behind the pin. It's the 2nd in a trilogy of Love & Affection pins and the three hearts stand for the laughter through the three stages of ones life: "childhood, adulthood, and old age all centered around childhood". I thought that was cool.

Just between you, me and the fence post, I'd rather have that kind of money in the bank. I wanted to share the pic with ya'll, but felt akward about the price showing. I didn't want to know how much it was myself, but when I looked it up, there it was. I just didn't want ya'll to think I was being a braggart or anything. I was just really surprised. :tinysmile

Angie, he's always a good gift giver. We'd looked around the Swarovski store before and he likes NICE things...so I guess he thought I'd like that. I do, but man, I could do some real damage at Target or Kohls or Stein Mart with that money. LOL! I'm awful. :goofy:

Jen I am the same way when dh buys me things. I love the sentimental thought behind the gifts, but I always think what that type of money could be used for elsewhere. LOL
