My dear wee ones will be turning four in just a week and a half. We have always had one party for the two girls. Separate cakes, separate gifts, etc....
This year they keep saying they want their own parties. One's actual birtday will be on Sun. the other on Mon. We could do one party Sat. and one Sun. only touble is, they have all the same friends....
One wants a Spiderman party, one wants a princess party ...... I have to get the invitations out by Mon. the latest......
What to do...What to do...What to do.... :tearhair::tearhair: help :grimace: !!!

Humm... what if you invited all their friends, and had two parties within one.
Meaning, if the invititation said the party was from 1pm - 3pm, for example, then have a Spiderman party for the first hour and half then the princess party the second half (or vice versa, whatever). You could work it so you had pizza on Spidey plates and cake on princess plates - Spiderman games before cake and princess games after cake... just an idea.
Maybe that's too much work, but better than inviting the same friends over for parties on Sat. AND Sun. imo. Good luck and have fun!

I have no really suggestion..except maybe a spider man room and a princess room....and the kids can go back and forth.
I'm afraid most parents wont want to go to 2 parties
curious how it turns out.

I can't see having two parties, a lot of work and not sure the parents would appreciate it either. Are there many kids? What about mixing the decor together? Blue and red streamers and pink balloons. Spidey napkins, pink plates, etc. I think the best is the way Sista suggested, one hour each. Games for both but seperated. Good luck. Let us know what you decide and how it goes.

We found the perfect solution.....:yippee::yippee:
I was talking to SIL and she mentioned a new play-centre that just opened in the next town over that also hosts parties etc...
They have everything to accomodate both girls wishes. I went through the place friday... it was amazing. Each room is set up for different activities.
They have a dress up room filled with about 100 different costumes, a bouncy castle.... a corner set up like a "princess tea party room" etc...
The next room is just like a real house, kid sized cupboards, appliences (toy of course), sofas, chairs, beds, laundry room,
Off set by a store with real cash registers, shopping carts, play money and lots to purchase, an office with 10 working computers...
Then comes the Superhero room filled with tons of superhero costumes including dd favourite Spiderman. They have a large Batmobile to pretend to drive, ropes for swinging on, climbing walls, and various Superhero things
Then comes the "Gross Motor room" which has all kind of climbers, swings, riding cars, slides, tunnels, teeter totters, trampoline, balls, etc.....
They also have a room that is geared just for Babies and Toddlers, and an arcade room for older children - I know that's where I'll find ds.
The children can move from room to room freely and the whole site in enclosed and secure from anyone escaping.
They provide the cake, loot bags and a gift for the birthday child.
It is a little expensive, but with everything they get out of it, and the stress taken off of hosting the party... it is well worth it.
Since we are having two parties in one they gave me the second one at half price.
It's a min. of 7 children per party, but that will be easy to fill. My four (baby is free) plus five guests each.... I am lucky they are so new and people haven't heard of them yet or I may not have got in on such short notice.

I'm glad you found a solution to your problem. It sounds like the perfect place to bring them. :) I'm sure they'll all have a lot of fun...
I'm also interested in the link. Sarah's birthday is next month and Dawn is looking for a good place to hold her party. TIA...

The place is called "Adventure to Wonderland". I looked over their brouchure and don't see a listed web site, but this is one very similar that we use to take the dd#1 and ds to when they were small and we lived closer to Toronto.

They loved it.
This new place looks promising. I'll check for a web site when we go for the party.
