Pot Roast - I need help

Ok, I have never made one myself, Always helped my mom....what kind of meat do you buy, I guess I could ask the butcher, but you all seem to be knowledgeable ...... our butcher is always crouwed and I don't want to sound stupid.......

Is this for the crockpot? I just usually buy the cheapest cut..round, bottom round, something like that.

Funny, I was about to give up on ever making another roast because they were always tough. Couldn't figure it out as to why but after getting the crockpot I am amazed how it is tender no matter what kind of meat goes in.
