They got 2nd!!!!!!

Such an exciting game. Both teams just really played well..the score kept going back and forth with the lead. Came down to the bottom of the last inning bases loaded with our team batting, two outs, two strikes and the tying run on second and the batter went to get out of the way of the pitch and his bat accidentally swung over the plate so it was an out...what a heartbreaker!!!!
But these boys are so proud of themselves and how much they have accomplished since the beginning of the season!!!

And the weather stayed nice except for the fact that a front blew in and it went from being 85 at 5:00 to 65 at 7!!!!!!!!!!!! brrrrrrrrr and it was very windy!!!

They have been invited to play in a 2 game tournament with a team in a suburb south of us..we were supposed to play the first game Sunday, but with the finals we yesterday we postponed. Not sure what is going to happen now.

I can't believe your baseball season is ending and ours is just beginning, LOL. Ds has only played 3 games so far this season and there are 16 in total before playoffs I believe. He's also playing on the select team again this year with 5 tournaments throughout the summer...at least 2 of them are in our city :o)

Glad your ds's team did well...congrats to him and all.

Yeah our season's just started too. Ds isn't playing though. It's every bit as hot and humid here Ann. Wish we could start earlier.

When does yours run?
Our's started in March and ends in May..there is summer ball (select) in June and open in July. It would make life easier to not have it during school, but even the high schools start their season in March.
