I'm having an online baby shower for sil. It's the only way we can do it and I really don't want her to miss out on one from family. I will have the web cam set up when guests arrive so sil can visit with everyone right from the start and of course the party will mostly be contained to my living room. We thought about games, maybe a word game but it's all kind of hard to do with her being so far away. Sil suggested we just visit but I'm afraid of everyone getting camera shy the room going too quiet for long periods of time. What can I do to fill the time if that happens? Play a game or two anyhow?
Also, I know some people have sent her things already not realizing there was going to be a shower but we still want everyone to come (mostly family) and not sure how to say this in an invitation. Any suggestions?
If you have been to an online shower or have heard about others and have ideas to make this go smoothly please tell me. I need help! LOL
My brother is going to be working that day so I'm thinking about calling him and asking if she has a good friend there that could be there for it in case she needs help with anything and maybe to surprise her with some decorations on her end. Do I need to bother with many decorations here like I would normally?
Thanks. :)
