Does anyone else put a spotlight to shine on the front of their house during the holidays? We have, but the lightbulb dh bought is low but it's still blinding coming out the front door. LOL
Does anyone else use one? What type/wattage bulb do you use??
TIA!

Can you tilt it so it doesn't blind you, but still illuminates the house?

Yeah, but it's still so doggone bright.
Maybe if I put it in the neighbor's yard across the street and let it shine from further away. LOL

My neighbors have them but they use red/green and they aren't so bright.

If you put it alittle closer it will show up alittle smaller so that might be less bright. The farther away the larger the picture will get.

The closer it is, the more condensed the light will become and be brighter. If it's further away, the light diffuses over a larger area. If it's any closer, it'll burn my darn face if I walk out the door. LOL
And, there isn't a picture, it's just a light. But I know what you are thinking of.

Don't go outside at night!!! lol :goofy:
Used to do this and my neighbors do. Set it as far back as you can and slightly off to one side.

We have spotlights that shine on a Nativity Scene that FIL built the year before he died. Not sure of the wattage... but we did set them back as far as we could and sort of on angle - one coming in from each side. They are frosted bulbs. Don't know if that will make much of a difference.
