Hello everyone! More sunshine for us today, it is just gorgeous. Can't wait to get my window boxes planted. Still fighting this !@#$%^&* headcold, but it is on its way out thank goodness.

Nothing much going on around here today... It's awful outside... cold and rainey just like yesterday! It sounds like it's going to be this way most of the week up until the weekend so, I'm hoping that we will at least have a NICE sunny, warm weekend. I heard that it might actualaly get down into the 30's tonight... and possible snow in some area's. Hope that doesn't include us. Burrrr!!!!

Kathy... have fun planting your window boxes. What kind of flowers do you usually plant in them? With this cold weather we've been having I'm glad I didn't get any my flowers planted yet. They are nice and warm and safe in my porch. LOL I'm hoping to get them planted this weekend but I hope by that time we'll have seen the last of this cold stuff!

Morning! It is absolutely gorgeous here...65 right now and only a high of 85..no humidity!!!! (Karla..tell your sister! LOL) We are going to the Astros tonite..great night for a ball game.
Still stranded at home, hopefully will get my car this afternoon. Doing the laundry that I blew off yesterday.

Unlike yesterday, today is glorious! Not a cloud in the sky. Cool at 52 with a high expected to be in low 70's.
Our library is closed for inventory and today is our library day, so I think I take the kids out for extra recess.

Hi all!! It is sunny here this morning. It looks much better than the snow we had the other day :) It didn't freeze last nite so hopefully my little pumpkins and radishes survived.
Cleaning and getting laundry done after the big birthday weekend. Jay got so many new toys I am not sure where we will put them. :)
I get to pick Jay up early from school to go to Greeley for his well child visit. Grandma Preston is picking Zach up after school. He is looking forward to that.

cold, only around 55 out, raining like cats and dogs, and more to come....power was out earlier....went to the doctors this am...got my cholest. test results, I am perfect...LOL...we knew that....had the yearly exam....went fine...she told me that I should have my tonsils out....but I can wait till after the summer if I wish...I wish....so I am going to put it off....I have enlarged tonsils...who would have tought...Also she said my thyroid looked large, so sent me to give more blood....and to check my cell count...so well see....home now....cold need to get the bottom of this house cleaned...spent all day cleaning upstairs yesterday looks great but down here its a mess.....:lol: thought would hang around the boards and catch up...hope everyone enjoys their sunshine...miss it here...

You wanna come get them out at the hosp. here. Then you could check in on ds for me since they won't let me near him. I'm sure dh is doing a great job looking after him, but I can't help but want to be there.
Good luck whenever you do decide to get them out. I had mine out a couple of years ago. It wasn't the most pleasant experience but not as bad as everyone told me it would be.

Ended up spending the night at my mom's with dks and got home this afternoon after driving in rain and wind. :nervous: We had a lot of fun and the time went fast. Came home and turned the heat on - bummer since we had the a/c on last week!! Ugh!

We had a very slow day today. Kids played and I finished all the ironing. Yawn, not very exciting. Our a/c broke last week so we better get it fixed in this cold snap, sure don't want another run of ninety degrees without air. A neighbor is going to babysit for me tomorrow so dh and I get to have dinner together. :) Going to the doc on Thursday to find out what's wrong with my foot. My heel's been hurting for several weeks now, I sure hope it isn't anything bad.(crossing my fingers)

It's been cold and windy here yesterday and today. I noticed my peonies did bloom today but my lilacs are done blooming for the year. :(

Took the youngest two to the dentist today. For Ds #3 it was his very first visit to the dentist. He did a super job and got his own toothbrush. Dh said that he played dentist tonite and had a mask and gloves on. Dd #2 didn't have any cavities!

Ds #1 had ball practice tonite for most of 2 hours! I have Avon to sort and pack but I don't feel like doing it tonite.

This board has been running really slow for me tonite--pages loading really slow, error messages, etc. so I doubt I'll get much more of it read.
