Hey all, Anyone got an idea about making a sweatshirt using fabric paints and children's hand/foot prints? I've done Christmas trees with hand prints (row of 4 handprints upside down, then 3, then 2 then 1 to make a tree), Reindeer....using a foot print facing down for Rudolph's face and handprints for his antlers....now am wanting another idea to use with my daycare kids for this year. I've thought about using their footprint upside down (toes at the bottom of the shirt) to make a snowman. I'd love to hear of any other holiday ideas using little hands and feeties.

My dd's preschool did a snowman with their fingerprints all over it for falling snow. They are so cute!

I've done angels using their handprints as the wings. Just use fabric for the body (I do a simple triangle) and head and fabric paint on the eyes, mouth and halo.
Have fun!

Ds1 did that one in preschool but they used his foot (toes down) for the head/body of the angel and handprints for the wings. Can't remember exactly what it looked like... it's in with the Christmas decorations packed away in the attic. :D
Here's one I found! I'd love to do this on a sweatshirt for ds2!
Footprint Penguin

Googly Eyes
What You Do:
Dip the child's foot in black paint or an ink pad and put on white paper.
Add eyes an orange beak and a small white circle for a belly and you have a footprint penguin
