Where are all the early risers? Ann? Vea? I thought for sure there would be a thread already started :goofy:
The house is soooo quiet. I really wish I could sleep in. I've got a million things going in my head. Hit the malls first thing yesterday and I finished all of my shopping :yippee: Last night we stayed home, so I wrapped everything up and they are ready to go.
Crazy day today - I've got to run to ds's school as he left a book there (they use the school for something else on Sundays so it will be open this morning), go grocery shopping, have lunch with my family, early dinner with dh's family and youngest ds has a hockey game just after dinner.
Somewhere I have to find time to start getting ready for our trip. Not sure if that it going to happen today.
Happy Sunday

wow...marla your busy today!
Well I took the full pill last night still woke around 5 in pain but slightly less so I took another half and was able to go back to sleep.
Not doing much of anything today....just hanging around....catch up on my soaps...dbf has practice then helping a friend choose a computer so I most likely have the house to my self most the day. :)
Have a great day!
Game day, early too....kids are showering we have to be there at 7:30 AM....doesn't feel like a weekend....
I am sleepy, need some java....looking for a Starbucks near the MS today....game isn't till 8:30, so I have an hour to get caffinated.
then home, for some light house work, and baking cookies :stocking:
Ack...didn't get home from a b-day party out of town until 1 a.m. Then I'm up at 8:30 cause I can't sleep in. DS slept at a friend's last night. We have to pick him up at 11:15 to go to brunch with all of dh's family. Then afterwards ds is going snowboarding with another friend and his dad. .... hope MIL isn't po'd because we are all supposed to go back to a nephew of dh's after brunch for gift giving. DS would rather go snowboarding so we're making out these were previous plans. Ann, I'm feeling a bit like you at Thanksgiving, lol. The whole family, even MIL, but one sister of dh's wants to just do brunch and forget the big get-together afterwards as it costs MIL huge amounts of money every year buying for all the extended family that keep popping up. I'm all for just doing bruch and dh said we'll let MIL know after today that that is all we'll be doing from now on. It just gets so out of hand.
Then of course there's Survivor tonight.

Dd and dh went to choir and early church. I'm getting things together for the Christmas parade today. Need to meet in a couple of hours to get our float ready to go and the girls (scouts) loaded on. It's sunny and supposed to be warm. :yippee:

Had fun shopping with dh. We had a very late dinner and didn't get home until late. Slept till 10 this am. The kids had fun with our niece babysitting and she brought another niece with her (10) to play with the kids.
No big plans today. A little bit of tidying and that's it. Going to go through receipts and lists to check off what I do and don't have to get for Christmas yet.
Have a good day all :)
I slept till 10!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it. I woke up initially at 7 which is pretty darn remarkable, but didn't want to get out of bed so I didn't! LOL
DD is going to my dad's attorney's party today (the big carnival one with good entertainment). we aren't. DH and I have a party tonite.
Renee, I am just blown away that the league plays on Sunday am's. What if a family wanted to go to church?

Good morning! I have been totally unmotivated yesterday and today. I didn't leave the house yesterday and I don't plan to today. I wish I could say that means that I've gotten alot done around the house, but no, that isn't the case. lol I'm hoping the extra cup of coffee I'm drinking will kick me into doing something...
Have a great day everyone!!

We got up early and went out to breakfast. Dh is reading the paper and I should be on the treadmill but I stopped here on my way down. LOL We got home pretty early from dd's last night celebrating sil's birthday. I was tired and wasn't exactly in a visiting mood. :) It felt good to get back home and into my comfy clothes. :)
Not a lot of plans for the day. I'd like to go at least 2 miles on the treadmill and then maybe go do a little bit of shopping. I'm thinking about buying Sarah one of those Sit and Spin's for Christmas. Our kids had and enjoyed them when they were little. The ones they make now play music as well as a few other things. We already bought her a little dirt devil vacuum cleaner. It's actually suppose to sound like and clean just like a real vacuum cleaner. :) She loves to help so I thought she'd like that. It will probably drive Dawn/James nuts but... :biglaugh:
Better get going. I hope you're all having a good day!
I slept in again and it felt good. Still wroking on laundry and then tidying up some. Vegging today. Can't wait for Survivor tonight! :D

Oh, you are mean!!! lol I bought one of those for ds and I couldn't wait for the batteries to die. He would turn it on and then move on to something else and never turn it off.

That cracks me up. LOL Dh nearly killed me when he saw the drum set I got ds3. :biglaugh: The noisy toys don't bother as much as they do him.

Brrrrrrr.... I'm trying to defrost after the parade today. The truck we rode in looked SO cute! A friend made banners for the sides and back and we then she took PVC pipe, wrapped it in red/white striped Christmas paper and topped them with white sytrofoam balls ..... they looked like giant candy canes!! The girls had a good time, but we were so cold.
Dh ordered pizza and I've finished some Christmas balls with maribou trim and rhinestones for little tuck in gifts. Time to go unload the dryer.

Sunday is quickly slipping away!! We had church at 10:30. While we were at the store getting stuff for dinner and supper a friend called dh wanting him to bowl on travel league today cause one guy didn't show up. So he grabbed his stuff and headed out (it's a half hour drive ). After we ate dinner I went to town to get the preschool/daycare groceries, came home and made cookies and got sign in sheets printed off for the week. I have to take dss # 1 & 2 in for bowling in about an hour. Then I should be able to get the rest of the stuff I need done for Preschool tomorrow.
I really wanted to bake rolls today, but there just isn't enough time in the day.For our favorite recipe they have to raise for about an hour, roll them out and let them raise again, and then bake them. Plus I need a new mixer. My Oster kitchen center is 16 years old and won't last much longer.
Can't get the kids motivated to clean anything up. I think I just need to take my house back over and the kids will be done with going to friends houses, ball games, movies, etc. Just don't know when I'd find time to clean my house like I should.
Exactly 2 weeks until Christmas, 3 weeks until 2006. Oh my tax season is right around the corner!
I was sitting here, reading the posts and couldn't figure out why people were going to church on a Saturday and why Ann wondered about Renee's ds's games... it doesn't feel like Sunday to me!
I stayed home with ds1, dd2 and ds2 this morning. They were all looking kinda puny last night (ds1 threw up yesterday late afternoon, too, so I didn't want to chance it), but now everyone is ready and raring to go. I'm still feeling like something the cat wouldn't bother to drag in, but oh, well. Tis the season.
There was another gecko/lizard in my bedroom today. :nervous: It was a small one, but our bedroom is the warmest room in the house so it was really active. Dh was gone so I had to catch it myself and take it outside. They're cute... but not in my bedroom, lol!
Dd went to see The Chronicles of Narnia yesterday and went again today to see it with her youth group. She really enjoyed it and said it's just like the book.
Nothing much happening tonight. Maybe dh will build a fire and we can cuddle. :) It's great weather here. Somewhere in the 50's today and probably in the mid-high 20's tonight. It's about as Christmasy as we'll get this year, I think.
Oh my tax season is right around the corner!
Don't remind me. That means I have about 3-4 weeks to get mine done! I have to get it completely done before the packers come.

LOL! I just posted before I saw this - maybe my memory is failing me, but I don't remember it being that bad.....could be that with all of the noise and commotion around me now compared to then, the little vacuum noise would be welcome. ;)
