how many times can I say its not about the work. It was about the treatement I recieved.....the lack of respect and un professionalism....

I spoke with the President today, he was mis informed from the HR lady that this was about my work load....WHAT? SO I explained for the impaired what my problem really was....he understood and totally backed me up....funny thing was I told him I never would have gone to HR had he had asked me on the phone that evening what was going on.........Then the HR lady was in the the person I had the run in with for over an hour....I had to leave so I called the office and told her I want a meeting tomorrow as soon as she gets in.....argh...wonder what she told him? I don't regret speaking out...but come one.....its never easy is it?

I will keep you all posted....but that was my day...oh and The HR manager, told me not to speak to any one about this....well 12 different employees asked me how I was doing today...how was my stress level....like the good old boys network isn't talking....

Can you say STUPID? My complaint was/is about the way I was spoken to.
Now its a three page report that the HR boob typed up and ends with a little performace evaluation for the idiot you yelled at me.....DEFLECTION...I wrote a letter to be attached to her report stating that I do not feel that I was representled correctly by the Co. HR Manager. Stated again what my complaint was/is......this has gone on for almost a week now. I actually have lost sleep over it.....I am sure that he gave his critique on my performace as he probably felt attacked.....He has apologize three time since the incident which occur last wed. He was approached on Monday with this incident report...HR is not on my list of things to clear up...... I am not letting this go ladies...the report was really NOT in my favor....How dare they try to deflect the core issue of the complaint. ARGH....another day in paradise.

Wish me luck as I am not a confrontational person and it takes a lot out of me to control my temper. I can't swear so I will probably cry...which just makes me more mad

Renee, do you feel his apology was sincere? What kind of action are you wanting from all this?

I wanted it documented.....This is the third outbust he has had toward me in the LOBBY of our Company in front of others....I was content with the apology. I truely felt he was sorry. That was on Friday. She approached him Monday....the incident was done in his opinion and resolved....I went to her on Thursday (incident happened on Wed.) HR took too long in my opinion addressing the issue and now the incident report has turned into a "Performace Review" The issue wasn't my capalilities, work performace........his way of yelling at people and then apologizing days later doesn't work.

I understand now why people don't file complaints.....

I don't regret this, I just wish it had been dealt with the day I complained.....

All you can really do at this point, is write an amended report. state in your amended report that you are dismayed that this has become an issue on your performance, that at no point in time during his tirade did he refer to your job performance, that you feel that any issues about performance have been included as a retalitory response, that you are again restating that it was the manner in which you were spoken to that you object to, that he has acknowledged the way he spoke to you wasn't appropriate (give dates) and has apologized.
You said you felt like his apology was sincere. I guess at this point, after filing an amended report, you need to decide if you will accept it, move on or quit.

Ok, so I presented my letter to her today....she got a little tounge tied....I then took matters into my own hands, I need this job and for the most part I like it....I spend an hour with the person I had the altercation with...we hashed everything out....we talked about how we could communicate better...just between us....I then had a meeting with my immediate supervisor....that lasted about 45 minutes....He admitted that this process has dragged on, and he praised me on the way I took charge and made things right with the other person.....We hashed out some other issues...and I feel better about the entire situation...the weird thing was that HR Manager.....Thanked me for resolving the issue, or as she stated putting it to bed.....

I don't think I would go to her again....

I'm glad that you were able to sit and talk about what happened and that you feel better about the situation. Keeping my fingers crossed that you'll be able to continue to have a good working relationship with him.

I'm glad that you got things worked out. Do you feel better about about it now (not what happened but about how it's been taken care of)?
