Dh has his networking meeting this morning so it's an early morning for us. I'm going shopping with my mom and sister today... don't really need anything but am hoping that getting out will help my mood. Dd #3's birthday is on Monday so am hoping that maybe I'll find something for her birthday. I have no clue what she needs though and will probably just end up getting her a gc from Kohl's. She LOVES to shop for clothes. (even though she already has too many... LOL) Anyway... I hope you all have a great day.

Have a fun day Diane!

My neighbors brought their kids over this morning at 7. I kept waking up all night long thinking I was over sleeping, I just hate that. I've made and served breakfast and now they are upstairs playing. My family is still sound asleep.

Brichard and I have several little things to get done today, but mostly it will be a kid day. I really want to get this Christmas stuff down!

Have a great day all!

I'm thinking Ann is spending part of the holiday with her in-laws.

Not too much on today. Need to change the food over into the new fridge, then either store the old fridge in the basement til we sell it, or put it in the old kitchen til we find out if BIL has it sold for us (he was asking a neighbour of his last night for us).

Checking in here then hitting the treadmill. A girlfriend is coming over at 1:00 and I'm going to see if she wants to come shopping for a window treatment for our new sliders with me.

Mom, mil, sil and I are leaving for the city around noon. We'll do some shopping, get a hotel and continue our shopping spree tomorrow. :) I finally went to the doctor yesterday because my chest has started to hurt. I couldn't believe he didn't even bother to listen to my lungs! The man listens to my lungs when I go in with a headache for crying out loud. He gave me 'scripts for decogestant/cough syrup and an antibiotic, but said I didn't need the antibiotic yet. Forget that! I filled them both and am hoping for miracles. Feels like someone set fire to my chest when I cough. Anyway! I'm looking forward to this girls day out even if I do cough up a lung in the process!

Dh and bil are taking the six kids to see Wallace and Grommit this afternoon and they (they kids anyway!) are really looking forward to it.

My parents leave today so life can get back to somewhat normal today. It's been nice having them here, but we have so much to do that it's been hard to sit around with them when we know what we need to be doing. Someone called and wants to look at dh's truck today. We are hoping and praying that it sells. It's a bad time of year to be trying to sell a 2004 full size 1 ton truck (but we've had 2 people call about it). We listed it on Craig's list. That's how we've sold some other things so far (motorcycles and kids quads). We are hoping one of these 2 guys wants to buy it. Off to take a shower and run errands/clean until we head off to town to show the guy the truck.

Pam- I hope the meds help!
Bev- do you LOVE your new kitchen now that you have your fridge? Is it all put together now?
Diane- have fun shopping. Do you think dd's bf will propose for her b-day?

Well, can't go anywhere to do returns today. Roads are bad, had freezing rain since yesterday. Ds3 didn't sleep well last night, his cold is bothering him. He has the sniffles in the day but not coughing. Poor guy woke up with a bad dream in the wee hours, the big bad wolf was going to get him, wolf is stupid and mommy needs to hug me all night to keep him away. He slept late this am (me too) but he's blah and more quiet than usual.
Need to help the boys clean their rooms today, dh is bringing home new desks for them. An office in his building was getting rid of a ton of stuff so he grabbed some desks, chairs and a few other things. At some point over the next couple of days I would like to get the tree down.
Hope you have a good day :)

SLept in this morning, felt so good after a couple of weeks of not being able to sleep thru the night and waking up so early.

The usual today light treatments this morning, gym this afternoon.
Got my haircut yesterday, it's a little shorter than normal(extremely short) not quite sure if I like it yet or not, but my hair grows so fast it will be okay in a week.

Diane and Pam - enjoy those shopping trips

Pam, enjoy your trip. Hope you're feeling better soon with the meds.
Jen, YES, I LOVE my kitchen now that the fridge matches the stove, lol...just a few minor details with the kitchen (some cabinet finishing) left to do, then in the spring some more outside work will need to be done and of course a deck!!! Good luck selling the truck!
Mel, hope your ds feels better soon.
Fern, if your hair is anything like dh's it'll grow out to a length you like in no time.

We leave here Feb 3rd. Leave the states March 1st. I have been excited since the day we found out we were moving! :D

I actually got some dc tax stuff done today! :yippee: I made a lot more than I thought I did. I have more to do, but getting something done was a relief. We're off to met the guy with the truck. I sure hope he wants to buy it! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Dh and the boys got home late last night and we spent the day just hanging out together. :) Dh is scouting tonight - movie and game night for me and the boys. :tinysmile Need to get the mail - guessing I'll check the lock a million times before I let go of the door. ;)

I left at noon today at work. Dumb brick actually showed for work today after refusing to show up yesterday. We are trying to decide if he has the balls the size of Florida or just dumber than we think. He is getting fired after Lovey gets back from vacation, but the shear fact that we stopped yelling at him or getting angry at his multiple mistakes doesn't even register on his radar.

Do any of you remember my old neighbor from Colorado? I worked for her dh (the dentist) and she was a terrible user of people. Nothing was out of the goodness of her heart-there was always an agenda. Well, she wrote me a Christmas card and asked if I could write back. I really have nothing to say besides the path our life has taken since we moved, but would you write back? I am debating.

Nope...I wouldn't write back. She wasn't a good friend to you then...and you haven't missed her since.

I am sooo impressed with the boys. They really did work hard on bedrooms, they were a disaster. Ds2 had a difficult time, is still working on all the little pieces for games/lego/k-nex but it's getting better. Ds1 plowed through and only came to me if he ran out of room to put something or didn't know what to do with it. He's cleaning the new desks right now. I'm not feeling well, getting odd pains in belly and hoping it's not the flu. Ds2 had it a few times today, it's off and on. I knew our luck would run out. So far this winter has been too good to us. lol
Quiet night from here on, think we'll watch a movie. I finished a book this afternoon and am now waiting for my mom to bring or mail me the next in the series.
Good night all :)
