The Yakima tribe has sent a bill to the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) for $32,000 for rain dances they did on their own in the month of April. The BPA is a federal agency. The spokesperson for the BPA said that *unfortunatly they are unable to pay for items without prior knowledge*. He almost made it sound as if with advance notice they would consider it. The Yakima tribe had no comment. Do you think the federal government should even consider paying for a rain dance?

Did they work? To answer your question - No. But I bet our government has paid alot more for similar ridiculous claims. (Sorry if I offend - please don't send letters)

Funny you should say that, Kat. The BPA spokesperson made a comment about how April was a rainy month!
