Ann... Good to hear about ds. LOL about dressing the dog. That must have been a funny sight. :)
Not much around here. Going to Kohl's to see if they have anything I like that I can spend my gift certificates on. :) I've got to clean the bathroom and scrub the kitchen floor. 8o I might have to take care of the neighbor lady's dd today after she gets out of school. She can't make it home in time to let her dd in... It won't be for a long time, only a half hour or so. :) She could go to another neighbor's house but I guess she likes it here better. :)
Anyway... I hope you all have a great day.

A nap is in my future. I was up ALL night long - mind racing and my tummy has been hurting for three days now (not nauseated, just achy... not used to that).
I'm off to work, then nap, then finish laundry I didn't get done yesterday.
Yesterday WAS very productive though. Lots of laundry done and got the bedroom totally primed for painting. I do need to go buy paint today, I guess. Bummer, that will shorten my nap. LOL
Ann, good to hear positive things about ds!! Hope dd's appt. goes well too.

Ann - lol about ds!
Diane - Have fun shopping, I love Kohl's!
sista - What's going on with your tummy? Have you been sick?
Brichard is still in bed asleep, poor thing, he is working such long hours right now. It was after 11 before he got home again last night.
Little ones have pre-school today and we pick up dn after school again. It will be nice next year when he can just come home on the same bus as ds.
Have a great day everyone!

Morning!
I realized I have 2 apointments today which would be fine except for where they are located.....I go North east, south and northwest to work. and the first and second one are about an hout apart....think I may reschedule the second one.
I'll be glad when all the appointment are done....and I can get back to being bored. :goofy:
Oh we got accredited at work so that's done but now we're maxed out because the one woman (who wasn't up to standards) quit. I don't blame her though....it was like people who don't even work with her were watching and complaining....when they didn't even know the situation.
Anyway that's my day!
Good morning!
Ann, your ds is too funny :)
Jen, happy napping ;)
Vea, too bad about all that driving for your appts.
Diane...I'll spend your gc for you if you like?
Angie...enjoy your day.
Working today. The kitchen cabinets are finished!!! The inside of the kitchen touch-ups, etc. will be finished today. Our addition will be featured on our contractor's website and in their photo albums as they get ready for the Spring Home Show in our city. I'm sure our neighbour's home will be too. I am excited and honoured to be a part of their website (www.rammik.com) . I will let you all know when our house is featured.
Can't wait for Survivor tonight...anyone else watching?

Ann, glad to hear some positive in ds. Too funny about the dog.
Not much on today, going to check the mail and that's it. Which means there is no reason why the laundry shouldn't get done today. Up a few times with ds3 so maybe we should nap later. :)
Hope you all have a good one :)

How many hours does Brich put in a week? Does he HAVE to work all these crazy hours or is it because he is commissioned and the more time put in the more time for potential sales?
My day is pretty mellow. I actually got my big butt up at 6:30am to workout and have been careful about my food. This winter has been a b&*tch on my body. Even when I had the 24 hour bug and I either threw up or went to the bathroom all day (without eating) and I didn't loose one pound!?? How is that possible? LOL I feel that my body needs detoxing, yet I don't even know what I am detoxing.

The first four months of the year are the busiest. He is scheduled about 50 hours a week, but right now when he should leave at 7pm, he doesn't leave until after 10 because of the heavy customer traffic and contracts he is writing. You also have to remember his commute is 1 hour and 10 minutes each way 5 days a week - over 11 hours a week in his car. The last 3 days he has left before we got up and gotten home after we've gone to bed. I almost pulled our two older kids out of school today to spend some time with him. Anyway, he was gone 74 hours and home for 46 in the last five days.

Not really. There has been a stomach bug going around and mine just sorta hurt the last few days. It's better today, though.
Never did get my nap. I decided to see what sort of sale Dillard's might be having and low and behold.... dd made out like a bandit as usual. Long sleeve t-shirts $3.25, kakhis $4.25.... so I was there until she had to be picked up from school so I called in my mom to rescue me. LOL
Ann, glad to hear ds is doing better and getting set for home studies. Too funny about the dog.
Bev, I've waited all day for Survivor. Hope it's a good one. I finished watching Survivor Amazon last night. On Bravo I think.
Angie, I can so relate to Brichard being away from home. Dh has an hour commute to work. He stays with his sister though on Mon. Tues. and Thurs. He comes home on Wed. for church and then on Fri.
He left this morning at 3:30 and I could not get back to sleep so I've been up since then myself. Made a pot of coffee and really enjoyed the quiet early morning. Spent about 45 minutes in prayer. Something I haven't done in months. I was just crying and praying and drinking coffee. Then I showered, got dressed and did a few chores around the house. Left at 6:30 for a workshop. Went to visit a Reading First School to observe their literacy block. What an awesome teacher. We were there with several other schools. I guess there were about 15 of us in one kindergarten class observing. The kids were awesome as we moved about watching and listening. They acted as though we weren't even there. The teacher's management skills were unbelievable. We all got to go out to eat and a local restaurant and pick the teacher's brain. I can't wait to implement some changes in my program.
My niece was my sub today. She's a junior studying elem. ed. She has no classes on Tues./Thurs. and I always ask for her to sub for me when I'm out on those days. I had court last Thurs. and she subbed for me then too. I love having a sub I can depend on to do everything the way I like for it to be done. I can't wait to see how things went because all the kdg. teachers were at the workshop today. The building was full of subs. My aide was able to help with my class and I think the principal made our building her base of operation today. I hope there's a building left! LOL
I left work early, needed to pick up the fundraiser (cheesecakes, and cookie dough) fit them all into my freezers...yikes....ds had a Birthday party for a team mate this evening, just waiting for dh to call not sure if he is going to make it...
DVRed Survivor....yikes....I am getting good at that...missed Gilmore Girls once and was determined not to miss any more of my fav. shows.....
tired, but this party should be lots of fun....he is a nice kid....we got him one of those Popcorn buckets :munch: filled with candy and a blockbuster gift card...hope he likes it....
off to find my shoes.....

Evening all. I am trying to polish up my resume again. There is a job listed in the paper that I would LOVE to get! I am not getting my hopes up cause in a small town like ours, most jobs are actually filled by a friend, but I will apply regardless.
Three nights of restless sleep...I am zonked...but not ready to fall asleep yet...so here I am!
Angie...I couldn't imagine having dh gone that much! No wonder you appreciate the time you do get to spend together  !

Kat - I wish brichard had someplace to stay like that on those late, late nights. I told him he should just sleep in the model! I think his company would frown on that though... lol How nice your niece subs for you!
Darlene - good luck on the job hunt.
