Anyone have anything exciting planned for the long wknd? We'll probably head to the lake if it's nice. If not my mom will come into town and we'll do a little shopping. :) Ds turns two on Monday and we have a birthday party to go to that day for our nephew. Other than that we don't have a lot planned.

The lake sounds like fun KarlaB!
We are staying pretty close to home. Brichard's party tomorrow night. He has Friday and Monday off. Then we leave for Florida the next Friday.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend planned!

IF it ever stops raining (it's been raining 6 day's in a row so far) I'm planning on getting my flower garden planted. We were suppose to have a freeze last night but it never happened, so hopefully it will be safe to finally plant. LOL
My youngest dd has a job interview at Wendy's tomorrow night and she's all excited about that. (her REAL first job) She's got a few friends that also work there so... they've all pretty much told her the job is already her's. LOL She'll be starting Drivers Ed. at the beginning of summer vacation so she wants to have enough money saved to buy a car when she gets her license. My dh will be buying a new car soon... I get the van and I told her she could have my LeBARON... but evidently she's got her own idea's... she wants to earn and buy her own car, which is good. I think she'll take better care of it if she's the one paying for it. :) I'll miss her help during the day but I'm sure that she'll make a lot more money and enjoy working a lot more with her friends than here with me. LOL
Otherwise... I'm hoping to have a nice quiet and restful weekend. It's suppose to clear up so hopefully it will... I couldn't imagine having to put up with this rain too much longer. :)
Diane...
Besides my wild Friday, we are just hanging out on Saturday. Sunday we have a graduation brunch to go to for our next door neighbor, ds has an Eagle scout ceremony to attend and then we are going over to my folks for a goodbye party for ds. Monday we are going to our pool for their party.
Diane...hope the weather holds, and yea for your dd.
Karla..the lake sounds nice
Angie..happy birthday to Brichard.

No big plans here just a little cleaning and hanging out. I wish i could goto the beach :( but thats ok I am sure ya'll well have tons of fun for me  Have a great time.
Resting, resting, resting! Softball game and cookout at church ballfield Mon. The weather is supposed to be beautiful. Low 70's and no humidity. Ds wants to go swimming, but I think it will be too cold after this little cold snap.
I think my kids have more plans than I do! One is going to an overnight tomorrow night, then oldest dd is on Sat. night. Not sure what ds has up his sleeve ;) DH's birthday is this weekend so we'll celebrate that and Monday my oldest is marching in the Memorial Day parade. I'm just hoping the rain stops! Like Dianel, that's what we've had all week. :(
Oh, and Diane, looks like we'll both be going through driver's ed this summer! My oldest dd will be taking it, too. Scary!! Our traffic is terrible anymore and I'm not looking forward to it. I hope your daughter gets the job! :)

It looks to be cold and rainy this weekend so I don't expect to do anything too terrific. The boys have to help mow the cemetary with their 4-h group tomorrow afternoon. Dh's dad and step-mom are 'supposed' to be here Monday for lunch, but they are famous for changing their plans so I'm not getting to worked up for it.
Sounds like a lot of you will have beautiful weather--enjoy it for me too! :)

My weekend is making me tired and it hasn't started yet! Friday night is rehearsal dinner for my brother and his soon to be wife. Saturday we have a graduation party and hall to decorate and a cake to make and Sunday is the wedding. monday my MIL is having a cook out I think. Then Tuesday its back to the daycare thing!
I think I am better off skipping this weekend.
Kids go to school for an hour tomorrow then its off for an hour road trip and the festivities! wooooooohooooooo LOL

Hi all! We had our long weekend last weekend....and two out of the three days were cold/rainy weather! Hoping it will be better tomorrow and Saturday as my aunt and I are having a yard sale. I have been busy cleaning the toy room and pricing things. I am having a hard time with $$ amounts to put on some things. I am trying to think what I would logically pay, so hopefully things will work out and I won't have too much junk to haul home again!
Anybody want to buy some great kids toys????!!!!!
Have a great long weekend all you southerners! Safe travels to those on the road and warm weather to those headed to the beach!
:)
Sounds like everyone has something going on.
We are going to go fishing for the first time in Alaska! We used to go every now and then in NC but never caught anything. I'm sure we will catch A LOT here. My dk's are SO excited. I don't like to eat fish so we'll probably just throw them all back unless dh wants to keep one to eat. Other than that we are just relaxing.
thinking of heading off to the Lake here too....sil has a camp on Onidea lake, and a few of my nephews are going to be there with thier children,(scary but my great neices and nephews are the same age as my kids...LOL) thought we would clean the house today and head out tonight or tomorrow....doing the laundry now, ds is still in school today, they had to make up a snow day so....sounds like every one has great plans....have a nice weekend all...

ds just came home from the hosp. today so we likely won't stray too far. There is a goog-bye party, for dh and another guy who is also being transfered to another office, Sat. night. My neice (14) is going to babysit. I have never left her with the kids before but she is a very responible girl. I'm confident that she will be ok. She is just starting to babysit for a few people. Wants to earn a few $$. to spend over the summer when they go on vac. to England.

Glad to hear that ds is home. How is he feeling? Did you ever get a chance to visit him in the hospital?
Enjoy your evening out tomorrow.
