ALL THE TIME! I drive a black Lexus RX300 and at last count there were officially 1 million of them in this area LOL!
Tried to learn a foreign language (I've tried Sign Language - ASL & SEA - and Spanish, and I can barely understand either, let alone speak them).

No, but I worked at a drop in childcare for a few months, and we'd have parents pick up their kids who had obviously been drinking. The owner's opinion was "well, if they've made it this far they can probably make it home".

Yes, even today I will still occasionally skip school. It's amazing how you can catch a "24 hour bug" when the weather turns warm!

OMG, she was so ugly, but everyone said "she's so cute". I was about 10 and I kept thinking do you guys see what I see? But she did grow up to be drop dead gorgeous.

Let me clarify - never sent them with anything contagious. I think they have been at school with a cold/runny nose - nothing that makes them unbearable or 'germy' to other kids or rundown so that they aren't able to learn or so they are creating extra work/stress for the teacher. I did have a kindergarten teacher who asked me to bring in youngest ds when he had diahrea or strep last year so he could be in their class pic, but I didn't....

I've sent them with colds too. It's a cold, they could spend the entire winter out of school here if we kept them home with them. Not the flu or anything big though. Ds1 missed a lot of school before his tonsils came out, he was always so bad with a cold that I couldn't send him. He went on the better days though.

I used to faint all over the place. Gotten sick once in an elevator, glad it was only dh with me at the time. I felt so bad for the cleaner who had to clean it (was in the apt. building I lived in with my parents at the time).
