Brichard woke up to the kids singing Happy Birthday!! so cute!! I fixed biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast. I think it is going to be a big day for eating!!! The ribs came in yesterday packed in dry ice...so neat. The UPS driver, who never waits for me to get to the door, was standing with this huge cooler pack and a big smile.....:having a party?

Dh has to go to work for just a few minutes today but other than that he is home with us. Hooray!!!

I turned 31 today, so the screen looks a little foggy. The back is a little sore, arthritis in the fingers... lol

We are having Montgomery Inn Ribs... simply the best in the world. If you ever go to Cincy you must eat there!

We are also having an ice cream cake (since I don't like just plain cake ;) ) with Peanut butter cups in the ice cream. YUMMY!

I hope I get a bigger size pants for my b-day! ;)

We had so much fun! My favorite gift was the homeade birthday card from the kids. It is funny, I distinctly remember my mother telling me how special a homeade card was when I was a child. I thought she was off her rocker! Ah well... some things you must learn in time.

Angie R. got me lots of clothes for the Florida trip and I received some cool work clothes, books, etc.

One gift I am enjoying right now is a Relaxation sampler CD. Sounds of the ocean, thunderstorms, tropical rain forest, etc. I absolutely LOVE it!

I just love the sound of the ocean. I can't wait to get to Florida!!!


The ribs were a huge hit! Even people who normally don't like Ribs loved them. Montgomery Inn ribs are just special. The meat isn't fatty like most ribs. It is almost like BBQ steak and the meat just falls off the bone. Luckily there are still some left... Hooray!

I can't believe how soon you guys leave for FL. Feels like we were just there and it's already been close to two months! :grimace: Can't wait to hear all about it when you guys get home. It's so magical there!! :dazed:
