work till 10:45 then going at 11:30 to get the beads and stuff for dd's birthday party this sunday. more laundry afterwards

I'm glad you decided to do the beads AnnW. I saw the cutest little "chop stick" hair accessories decorated with beads in March's Family Fun that I want to try.
I got up early and filled the food pantry orders. Now I'm home and everyone is still asleep. I really should be getting them up!! lol
My van goes to the shop today, kids to preschool, ds to dentist, pick up dn... fun fun fun!

Up early... dh has his networking meeting this morning. :) We woke up to about 6 more inches of snow. 8o I went outside and shoveled off the sidewalk/steps and made a path down the driveway. It's still snowing so I'm sure I'll be going out to do it again in a few hours. LOL
Taking care of my granddaughter today. :) They'll be dropping her off at 8:00. I have no idea how long I'll have her. We'll be doing some baking today to keep her busy.
Treadmill/exercise if time permits.
Angie... you must have been up/out very early in order to get back home this early. LOL :)

Today mil, Mom, dh's aunt, dd1, ds2 and I will be having a fun day shopping in Tucson! :) Tonight is a concert at church and it looks like ds2 and I will be staying home for that. It should be a quiet evening.

Sitting here contemplating going back to bed. wasn't ready to get up but went to potty and then decided I wanted coffee....now I want to go back to bed.
Nothing really planned just work and I may stop and pick up my Pool pass.

Ann, whatcha making with beads? I've got a gazillion I could have sent to you. LOL I actually got mine out last week and started beading again; made a girlfriend and myself a necklace and earrings. :)
My car is in the shop (another shop) today. Got tires yesterday and when they inspected it they told dh other things that we needed which he didn't trust, so it's at the dealership today being gone over once again. We'll see if they agree with the first inspection ( I hope not, b/c it'll be another $300 out of our pocket to fix what supposedly is wrong).
Ok, that was long and dull. I'm off to work shortly and nothing else going on the rest of the day or evening. Ahhhh.

Dh and the older boys are gone skiing for the day. Ds3 and I are going shopping and to visit a friend today. I'm hoping I remember to bring some old glasses with me to get repaired at the mall. Not much else on, need to tidy before I go anywhere but won't take me long.

I got up and left at 6 this morning. Not too bad, I only had 3 orders to fill, of course I walked into the pantry kitchen to find that our local Curves had a food drive and all that food was in bags full all over the kitchen :yippee: There was no way I had time to put it all away.

LOL...I knew someone was gonna say that but I had to explain why I got out of bed in the first place...LOL.
Any way I got a burst of energy.....I just put on a load of was and am about to start the second one...trying to use the machines before everyone else.
At this rate I may get my emmissions done on my care too.....LOL.
Working today. Going to see my Dad tonight. Funny thing...today the motor to pump my windshield fluid is working...for figure.

Will you make me some earrings?! I bought a new shirt yesterday, and I have nothing to go with it, all my jewelry is silver. Df and I have a wine tasting tonight. Not sure if I should wear my black dress, or just some slacks.

well its cloudy here today.. thought the rain was suppose to be here tomorrow ... hmmm ah well
have laundry need to finish up, yarn to pick up where I had been crocheting, sun is attempting to break thru the clouds .. so it mite clear up soon, warmer here than it looks, that is nice .. otherwise its the same old thing here today ...
people behind me are selling their house so am watching more traffic in thier drive the last couple of days .. hmmm
can't wait til tomorrow nite .. becca and kids arrive .. yeahhhh so maybe over the weekend will make a new avator .. yes ?? hopefully ?? ohhhh can't wait to see the little one and get tons of pics of her & them while they are here .. yeahhhhhh

but only after all my beads get "unpacked" .. lololol
I was watching a show the other day where a lady works with wire on one of those spool thingys and she makes this wire like bracelet then fills it with whatever bead trips her trigger at the time. she made a really neat one with what appeared to be small teardrop pearls in it. really cute !! would have never thought of using wire that way, but neat idea.
Up, kids are showering, I am still fasting....gotta get this blood work done soon, I need coffee and food....thankfully there is a Starbucks near the blood lab.
work, then home, need to get the doggie to the vet, he is walking like one paw is hurt...poor dear...

Still snowing here, but school is still on.....which is awesome bcuz I don't want dh's game canceled. :rolleyes: Area schools are closed, but it really doesn't look that bad here - I think the biggest concern will be blowing/drifting later.

How much snow did you get? I think we got at least 5 more inches... and it's still coming down a little. :rolleyes: I hope this is the last of the snow we see. :)

I'm not sure how much we have gotten. We were forecasted for up to 9, but it's not that much. Then again, I haven't been out yet today. LOL! It's still snowing, but it's so fine you can barely see it. :) I think this should be the end of it for this winter. Spring is 5 days away. :butterfly
They are going to be making necklaces for sure and maybe earrings and bracelet. DD was so funny when we explained that these would be 'real' jewelry and not those little kiddie beads!

Ann that sounds really neat ...
I know the boys had fun doing ornaments about 2 xmas's ago .. @ church; so we did a batch of the bells / icicles here at home and it was so cute with joey .. he was not getting the hang of stringing them on the fishing line .. so he would sit by Brian and hand the beads to Brian to string .. dang should have gotten a pic of that .. it was just so cute .. and now he understands how to so its even more fun watching him do the stringing of them ..
hmmm maybe thats what we will do; becca is talking about getting an 8' this year .. wonder how well brian would do with the seed beads now ?? thanksss for the idea .. neattt :roll:

Yep, that's the one.
I ended up buying a pair from the Limited that look ok - a little cheesy, but they're ok.
