Brichard woke up to the kids singing Happy Birthday!! so cute!! I fixed biscuits and sausage gravy for breakfast.

Sounds good. That is what I made for supper last night. I just really wanted biscuits, sausage, and gravy. Ds said, "Breakfast for supper, that's just weird mom!". I will occasionally order breakfast when eating out too. Anybody else do the same?

I've also been known to but a little bacon grease in a pan and re-heat left over spaghetti or eat a tuna fish sandwich for breakfast. I guess I just want what I want when I want it. :licklips:

Me too! :)

We had pancakes for supper one night last week. And, one morning this week the boys woke up wanting cold pizza.... :)

We do it all the time! Pancakes are a popular "supper" food for us, as are sausages and eggs. I've even been known to serve a bowl of cereal...which cracks the kids up!!!

One of our favorite "dinner" meals is Strawberry Crepe's. Yummy!

We grew up eating pancakes once in a while for dinner. My kids love eggs so sometimes they get eggs and fried balogna or sausages and hashbrowns. Sometimes my youngest will eat a bowl of cereal for a snack and the other night he had some for supper since his brother was sick, no one else felt like eating so he had a choice and that was his. lol
I'm not big on breakfast food (I don't eat eggs) but sometimes I will have leftovers from dinner that I eat for breakfast. Or just chocolate cake. :)

MM! I'm guilty of allowing the boys to order anything on the menu when we eat out. That includes the goodies section too. So if it's ice cream they want, it's ice cream they get. ßß!

YUM! Recipe please?! :) We used to make them in French class in high school and when my mom had a foreign exchange student from France she would make them for us. :licklips: I was just thinking about them and now your mention of them really has me craving them. :*

We have that all the time. On Fridays during Lent I will usually make at least on meal of pancakes, french toast , or eggs. Other times we'll have that and bacon. I personally don't feel like I ate a meal if it's all sweet.
I used to love cheese omelets but lately eggs don't like me.

I don't really care for pancakes and french toast that much either--syrup is tooooo sweet. Sometimes I'll make that for the family and fix myself a mini pepperoni pizza.

I'm not a morning person and I don't cook breakfast. It's cereal, pop tarts, toast, etc. A few years ago I got a snack master for a gift so now my older boys can make their own eggs in that.

We do it more than I should mention!

Pancakes, french toast, cereal and eggs in a nest are all favorites around here!
Especially on hot summer days or those I haven't made it to the grocery store kinda days.

We eat "breakfast" for any meal. breakfast, lunch, dinner. Sundays are usually brunch so have a combo of breakfast and lunch.
a big fav. around here is pancakes or waffles. dk's aren't stuck on syrup, but like to put warmed fruit or jam on them. Crepes are our summer treat, when all the fresh berries are available.

ds must be feeling better. He just woke up and wants potato salad for breakfast!!!!

You know, I used to have a "crepe" recipe but now I just make really thin pancake batter and use that instead. I use an omlette pan and put 1/3 cup batter in and roll around until it covers the bottom of the pan. Cook on both sides. I like mine a little crispy. We fill ours with fresh strawberries and whipped cream....roll them up and top with syrup. Yummy!

Oh that sounds so good. And now the grocery store is closed! lol I don't think I will be able to get crepes out of my mind now until I have some with strawberries. :) I didn't know they were just thin pancakes. I will have to try them on the kids this week and see how it goes. Maybe I will finally get my youngest to eat some fruit.

Ooooooo - I just have to put in my 2 cents worth here!

We love waffles and pancakes at our house, and we just picked about 13 pounds of strawberries while on vacation, so I made a strawberry puree for pancakes.... yummmmm..... my father in law was also seen pouring a bit over vanilla ice cream!!

The berries are so sweet, you don't need added sugar and it's a nice switch from syrups.

Now I'm hungry too!

Jennifer
