need prayers please

I am a little worried about myself....after my exam on tuesday, where I learned I have to have my tonsils out, she took blood for my thryroid exam.... it came back normal, but the nurse called and I have a slight lump on my neck, can you believe I never noticed it...now its all I see.....about the size of a golf ball...anyway, they sent me yesterday for an ultra sound on my thryroid...neck I guess...anyway it went fine but I am now waiting anxiously for the results....hopefully I will be put on medicine and it will go away right? I am sick of being sick, maybe we should sell this place and move to CA...I have never been so ill in my whole life....well enough about that....please say a prayer for me, cuz as strong as I act around here, I am really scared......thanks for being here for me......

You poor thing! Nothing comes very easy lately does it? Hopefully, everything will come back perfectly fine:) When do you get results back?

I think since you are new to the climate, its going to take you a bit to "toughen up" your immune system. My family is falling apart in Colorado. The allergies/sinus/colds/strep have invaded my family in the last year since we moved. Never had this many problems back East. Someone said it takes about 2-5 years to become acclimated. You don't have lead or asbestos in your home do you? Yours is a pretty old house and you might want to get that checked.

thanks amy, no asbestos and no lead paint here.....just something in the air on the east coast that makes me sick...LOL...or maybe its just me falling apart......sure its nothing to worry about, should get some results today or monday...hopefully today, can't stand waiting....

I talked to the doctor just a few minutes ago, and its a cyst....nothing to worry about....ha....well I go in for a thryoid uptake, on June 4, 5th..... I won't fall over dead over the weekend so thats good....:lol: my niece is bring pizza and wings out to the lake, and we are doing beer.....can't wait, just scared when the doctor called it a cyst....I am sure I will be fine, and I know you can live with out your thryoid, so....I'll take all the prayer, and you know you people are the best....I don't have to go through this alone.....thanks again...Off to the lake to forget my worries....:lol: have a great weekend all....

Glad it was just a cyst Renee. I have two neighbors with thyroid problems, both of them felt real off until they got the right level of medication. Hope you're feeling better soon. Stress can also make you sick, I always catch lots of cold when I'm under a lot of stress.

My husband has something that sounds similar to your lump,but his bothers him when he eats, he went to the doctor at easter and got meds, they said it was an infected cyst. He goes to the specialist at the end of the month, because they think now that it might be a stone in the saliva gland. Did you get any medication?

the weekend was ok, worried a little, the lump is noticable, and I have an appointment on June 4th and 5th for this scan, I guess its a two day thing....then they can decide weather or not to remove it, or treat it with medicine.....I hate looking at it in the mirror....I am a little scared...but I guess its better to know what lies ahead then just have worry all the time....;) your prayers must be helping, cuz I am feeling less alone in this... thanks again
