The last four days I have hurt everyday. I take tyl w/ codien and tonight even took vicoden and they barely dull it. :( I am still looking for a reproductive surgeon. I have found a few options but am trying to narrow down my choices. Going to see my local gyn June 1st but i already know i really want to see a really experienced specialist... I know that God works all things for good to those whom He has called but I wish I could see what He has in store for this pain and what He is going to use it for... Maybe then I could endure a little better. I wish I felt better. I guess I'm kinda rambling now but I needed to get all this out.

Mandy, bless your heart. I know how draining it is to be in pain every day. Hope you get answers and relief soon. Be careful with the drugs too.

Thank you so much for the encouraging posts and hugs... It means so much to me... I think I have settled on Dr. Cook in Palo Alto CA. He has been the most impressive as far as his techniques and success rates as well as patient responses. It will be a very long trip (im from OH) but if it gives me better relief it's worth it.

I try to avoid my meds as much as possible. I rarely take them unless the pain prevents me from functioning... usually only when i can't sleep bc of the pain.

I also just got a call yesterday from my local gyn about my last pap. It was abnormal dt a virus so I have to go in for a coloscopy (not surgical, i don't think). I'm going in on fri.

a colposcopy? I have had a couple of those. They aren't too bad..more the position that you have to put your legs that's bad! LOL You will feel a pinch as they take the biospy and will probably have a little bleeding or discharge, but other than that, no big deal.
Glad you found a doctor. There weren't any endo docs in Ohio?
