How often do you eat out?

Seems like dh and I have been eating out or picking something up alot lately....just wondering what eveyone else is doing....am I the only one not cooking?

We rarely go out to eat, by the time dh is home from work and we would get anywhere it would be too late. Sometimes we go for brunch or breakfast in the winter before going to the ski hill. If anything we order a pizza for convenience. If we're out shopping we may do the drive through but that's about it but even then we try to avoid it by eating at home first.

All the time. Every Sunday (sometimes twice), Wednesday and Friday. Alot of times on Saturday as well. That just seems wrong to me, but I don't have the time or energy much to cook these days. With dh gone so much of the time now I'll grab a sandwich or soup and ds makes his own food. I really miss cooking and sitting down together as a family. Looking forward to more of it this summer.

OMG... WAY TOO MUCH!!! Seeing it's dh and I, sometimes it's just easier and actually a lot cheaper just to go out to eat. We go out each/every Wednesday night, Friday, Saturday and Sunday... We DO watch what we eat when we go out though... no crap allowed. (just once in a while... LOL)

We go in spurts, but it is often. Sometimes it's just easier, I'm lazy, or simply craving something. :) It's usually once during the week and a couple times or more on the wknd.

Ours is more of a planned eat out rather than eating out cause i don't want to cook, if that makes sense.

Sometimes we will eat out a lot for quite a while, and then I will cook again for a while, and then we will go back to eating out, and you get the point.

I eat out at every opportunity. I hate fast food though. I need to find a nice diner where dh and I can be regulars. I tell him that in a few years when the children are gone (please, please, please.... LOL), we'll eat out every night. He thinks I'm joking. Bwahahaha. He'll learn--I've never joked about hating cooking.

We have a little diner in our city that serves great food/meals and they are very reasonably priced. We always usually have left overs, which we take home for the next day's lunch. LOL Not a real fast food person myself... but if given the choice to cook or go out for fast food... I'd choose the fast food. LOL (I got burned out from cooking while I was doing day care...)

dh doesn't like food wrapped in paper...so we out at local resturants, or I call in a dinner special and pick it up.....it seems like it more often lately....picked up food from On the Boarder tonight.....

We haven't been eating out much lately at all. We do have a planned night out when Brichard's brother comes in next week.

We get something out a couple of times a week, usually. Thursdays when we go see Dad we usually get pizza on the way home or last night we picked up chicken and tators from Mary Browns.

We have friends who eat out Thurs., Fri., Sat., every single week. And usually go to the same restaurant for each of those nights, (i.e. Eggcetera on Thurs., East Side Marios on Fri., ??? on Sat., etc.).

We usually go to the same places... usually because the same group of people are there and we've kind of gotten to know them. Everyone pretty much knows each other by name and you're greeted by the regulars as you walk through the door. (small town... LOL)

We don't usually eat out as much during the summer... more grilling out than going out. :) It depends upon what were in the mood for. :)

We've been eatting out way too much....I think that's what's been going on with my stomach....Dbf's friends want to go out saturday not sure where yet....Think I'll be cautious about eatting.

We eat at home a lot more often than we use to. Since the girls, baby and dn came along it has got a lot more expensive to eat out.... even at a fast food place. We still go occasionally. dh and I will go ourselves about once a month for a nice dinner.
As I have posted in the past. dd#1 has become a real whiz in the kitchen. She loves to cook. She can whip up some pretty fancy meals. No protest from me if she wants to do it... I hate cooking. dh enjoys cooking too, must have got it from him.

we don't .. most times we prefer eating at home. I guess because of him being on the road soo much better eating at home .. so we been doing the eat at home more and more lately also with the new house and all. infact hmmm we haven't even ordered pizza this year for here ... lolol :goofy:

We eat out way too much. In fact it is getting too expensive and fattening! Lately, we have been trying to tone it down.

As a family almost never. About the only times we do is when we go out of town for the day. Then it's always fast food.

Here at home we can't agree on one place that everyone will eat. I don't care for Subway. Dh and a couple of the kids prefer that. I'll eat McDonalds but it upsets dh's and dss stomach. Pizza hut is just tooooo expensive for all 7 of us, especially we can't agree on the same kind. Dh likes thin crust & pepperoni & mushroom. I like pan or hand tossed Pepperoni & mushroom (I hate thin!). Ds #1 likes hamburger. Other dss like Cheese. the girls like Canadian Bacon. All of those on pan or handtossed. What we usually end up coming home with amounts to a whole large pizza just a variety of crusts and toppings.

Arby's is coming this summer so that will give us another choice! :drool:

$75.00 for dh and I when we were on vacation last year. It was so good we went out and had the same exact meal two nights later. :licklips: It was well worth it. LOL
