tired. must have slept in a bad position cause my back hurts. i feel hung over but didn't have anything to drink! hope i am not coming down with anything.
massive amounts of laundry and cleaning today. dd took the clothes that i hadn't taken out of the drier and just dumped them on the floor of our bedroom and then the dogs thought that was their bed..so i get to redo last weeks laundry! grrr

Went to bed late late and didn't climb out of bed until almost 8:00. 8o Looks like it's going to be another beautiful day. I still have to get out for my walk, I haven't been doing that as much as I should. :rolleyes: Were going over to dd #2's to help them paint their family room. Were going early so we can get back home and get some of our stuff done too. The weekends never seem long enough...

I'm hoping to get somewhere to get some geraniums and some ground cover today... not too sure if we'll have the time or not though. If not, there is always tomorrow.

Sorry about your back... I hope it feels better soon. Funny about dd and the laundry... that kind of help you don't need. :)

That "laundry moving" makes me crazy. I really try to only start laundry when I know I'll still be home to move it and reclaim it. A bunched up pile of clean clothes thrown on the couch or on top of the dryer inspires intense grouchiness.

We have prom tonight. Dd3 is already in prep mode. LOL Dh's oldest is going too, but he's going without a date. I'm glad he's going at all. Being involved in things has been a struggle for him.

The usual Saturday routine here...little league games. Plus...I'm getting organized for us to leave for Disney on Thursday. Tons to do. I have to have to get some end of the school year stuff done (grades)...and have the Kindergarten Graduation on Tuesday. Wednesday is the last day of school (half day), and then we leave on Thursday. Crazy!! Can't wait to see Disney for the first time, though!!

Morning all.....I am so glad its Saturday....It is suppose to hit 96 today, we are going to runs some errands and sit in the yard by the pool...dh wants a wire cooking rack for our kitchen for the extra pots and pans....got some things I want at Sams too....

I have bee so good about working out....did my 30 minutes on the elipital already....feel great about it.... Trying to watch what I eat, but really concentrating on MOVING more....

Laundry today for me too....

I'm tackling the house today, too, Vea!!! 8o Dh and the three oldest went on a hike with a group of friends from church and will be gone until sunset! :yippee: Ooops... guess I shouldn't do a happy dance just 'cause most of my family is gone, but it will help me bust butt around here! :lol: Mom has already made plans for ds2 to come over later, so it'll just be me and the vacuum, lol! Along with the normal laundry woes. :rolleyes:

It's supposed to hit 101* here today. :( I can't be too, too sad though, 'cause it actually rained yesterday! 8o 8o 8o It's been so long since ds2 saw rain he wasn't too sure what it was, lol! He kept getting upset at all the "smoke" in the sky. We finally convinced him they were clouds. :lol:

Renee, I'd love some of your motivation to move!!! I've completely lost mine and can't seem to find it again. Wah!

We went to see Over the Hedge and I fell asleep! :bawling: It was so cute (at least the parts I saw). For the life of me I could not stay awake. I went to bed too late and woke up too early. I should have taken a nap before we went. Both dks have friends spending the night. I need to clean the bathrooms and get some laundry going.

Hope your dd has a lot of fun on her prom. :) It's nice that dh's son is still going even without a date. I'm sure there will be others just like him there too. :)

well, haven't cleaned or washed anything but ME!!! i have just been hating how I looked so i called a new salon and said 'i am having a midlife crisis and i want you to make me look fantastic TODAY!!!!' LOL
love the color..gal just highlighted the top. cut is ok, but it was in a bad shape before hand and she sort of fixed it. i think she wasn't real sure when i said 'do whatever you want!!!'
i had to borrow my neighbor's car to go today cause walked out and the flat that i had fixed yesterday was flat again! waiting now for the mechanic to come.

We are in the midst of the town excitment for the year-the fireman's carnival. Our neighborhood is prime location because we are walking distance and the parade tonight goes right past our entrance rd. People actually have BBQ's and family events surrounding this carnival. Ahh...small town life.

LOL 97 today, ok a little hot right now, but all last month it was steady at 76 degrees, sunny and beautiful....

well we got the wire shelving rack, it looks great....got all the grocery shopping done...didn't do any laundry....too hot....hung out in the yard with the family, pool cool drinks...it was a little too hot for me today....stayed cool regardless...I got the cutest camisol shirts at Sam's with a built in bra like thing...:lol: and had on a pair of capris that were linen....kids sprayed me with thier misters...it was nice day, but I am exhausted.....gotta do that laundry tomorrow. Its supposed to be hot again...so back in the yard...or sit in the AC house..ok that wins my vote...

love the color! it's the highlights that i wanted when i did it last time. except this time it was done right! LOL i love that gal that (used to) cut my hair but she will not do foil highlights..she loves the damn cap. It makes such a difference, plus you can do different colors. We are aiming to start blending my gray in with the highlights. In this case, the oldage 'you get what you pay for' held true. I wasn't crazy about the haircut yesterday cause I guess part of me was wanting a dramatic change, but this am when i woke up it looked pretty good so guess that's not a bad thing! LOL
