My 6 yo dd still uses powder sometimes, she tends to get heat rash easily and it seems to help her. She has sensitive skin and this TX heat can take a real toll on her.

My ped told me not to use baby powder at all because they can inhale it. My sil who has children with asthma was told the same thing.

I never used it on my dks when they were babies because I heard the same thing about them inhaling it. I do use it on my youngest right now (2) because he has been getting such a rash lately and it helps keep him drier.

I always powdered mine, but then I guess that was in the dark ages.

The best smell in the world though is a baby magic baby.
I love all the new mommies at church who have baby magic babies.

Wasn't there something in the news a while back about powder (on little girls) being linked to an increased risk in cervical cancer? Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought they had a report on the news about it.
