I didn't sleep well last night, just couldn't get settled down to sleep. The boys all woke me up this morning, but I didn't get up until they started saying they were starving. Having 6 kids under 10 years old is going remarkably well. We are going to a baseball game tonight.

Grocery shopping this morning. Mom wasn't able to get her allergy shot yesterday, so we'll do that before we hit the stores. Dd1 has to work a bit early today, so I'm hoping to get home a bit earlier than usual.

Dd1 and ds2 have been staying over at mil and fil's since they left on Monday. I think they're having fun being "on their own" without dh and I. :lol: They're going to spend the night again and try to get ds2 to stay with them (he doesn't sleep well except in his own bed). At the very least they'll have him over there while dh and I go out tonight. It'll be very different to have the house to ourselves! :lol:

Another beautiful morning. We could certainly use some rain though. Were having to water just about every day. :(

Dd #3 is coming over for the day and I'm getting Sarah at 11:00. Not too sure what our plans are. I know I'll be taking Sarah to the park... there is no way I'd get away with not taking her there. LOL My sister is coming down from Marshall late this afternoon to spend some time with my mom. She hasn't been down since dd #2's wedding 10 months ago... so I'd say it's about time. :rolleyes: :rolleyes: She'll be leaving early Sunday morning.

Gotta get out for my walk before it gets too hot, so better get going. Hope you all have a great Friday!!

Good morning. I did sleep in a little today. I had a terrible headache when I went to bed last night, so I didn't sleep to good. My headache is just a dull throb this morning, but I figured I would stay in bed for a little longer. The pest control man also came today to spray. He comes the first Friday of every month, and when I am here he LOVES to talk. I of course had to get up and get dressed for him coming.

We actually got the rain we so desperately needed last night, and we are supposed to get more today. It is very gray and muggy outside, so it would be a good day to curl up and read a book.

DS is going to an all-ages concert tonight downtown...not sure how I feel about that, but I trust ds (and the friend he's going with) completely so I am sure he'll be fine. He'll only ever be a few minute drive from us at any rate.

Busy is the only way to describe my day at work. I felt like a chicken with my head cut off a few times. Ended up leaving an hour late. I'm glad it's Friday. Might go see the movie "Click" this weekend, but I need to research why it's PG-13 first. Other than that no plans for the weekend.

As much as I liked the houseguests from Season 6, I am disappointed that they are sticking together, so to speak. I mean, maybe they aren't keeping an alliance based on that, and that's good, but it's being perceived as that. WTG Jase and Janelle!

I am surprised at who got booted from Rockstar. I mean, sure another poor song choice for Matt (Duran Duran), but he had a way better voice and stage presence than Phil does, imho.

Dd came home from camp today. She had a great time! She can't wait to go again next year. She was really proud because she got the "Most Friendliest Camper" award. I only got to spend about 10 mins with her before she was off again on another trip. My mom and sister met us at the church to pick her up to take her to the rodeo this weekend. I can't wait til she's home for good!

Major house cleaning to do today. Friends are coming over tonite for games and a movie.

Took ds3 to the clinic this am. He woke up vomitting after not having a fever in the night. Thought he was starting to feel better last night before bed but this am was horrible for him. He slept in the waiting room and had a few sips of water and managed to keep that down. The doc said if he starts up again to take him up to the childrens hospital. He suggested a sports drink instead of water and ds has kept down one full sippy cup and half a freezy so far since getting home at noon. He did start to run another fever this afternoon and is sleeping again. He has not stayed awake for longer than 45 min to an hour at most at a time in the last 2 days. At least his stomach pain isn't keeping him up anymore or making wake up and vomit. So, here's to hoping he is starting to get better and no more getting sick or off to hospital we go. Please send good vibes and prayers that he gets over this soon.
Anyhow, that was my day! Nothing planned tonight obviously except maybe watching a movie later with dh. No weekend plans, supposed to be hot and sunny so I will be keeping ds indoors all weekend in the air conditioned house. Hope you all have a good day.

Not much going on here this weekend until I know how ds is feeling. dd#1 and girls are out with sil. Went to see 'Cars' again (third time). Sil wanted to see it but since she doesn't have kids and felt funny going alone she asked if they wanted to go. They love the movie so jumpped at the chance.
I think I am starting to feel a little icky myself.... I'm going to try and call it a night a bit early.

Because if he cannot keep these fluids in him they will have to put him on IV to get some into him. He was starting to show a few signs of dehydration and that's why I took him in this am. Was hoping they could have done something for us at the clinic ( a 45 minute wait, compared to the kids hospital which could be a good 5 hour wait). I really hope he keeps this in. I thought last night we were out of the worst until this am.

Home from the beach and man is it nice to have a TAN!! lol
There were 10 of us there and it went farily well. Mil and fil got on our nerves, but we knew we could get away from them either by going under the house or to the beach b/c they don't go those two places. LOL

The PITA bil did not come! Another bil was to pick him up at the airport in Wilmington, NC on his way from here, but the SOB didn't tell bil that he wasn't coming until bil had already left here for the trip. What a $hit.

I'm glad to be home but had a good time with the other 2 bils and my sis and a neice and nephew. :)

Gotta get my digestive system straightened back out. Mil fixed more meat dishes than I could handle (beef, pork, barbeque, sausages, hot dogs, hamburgers....ugh). I was DYING for some chicken or fish. We did veggie plates from Cracker Barrel for dinner tonight. :licklips:

I went to school today to look over my room now that it's been cleaned. Tried to move a few pieces of furniture around trying a new configuration. Brought home some books to pour over since I'll be teaching a different class next year. Dh and I went to help clean the church building, it's our month. Picked up Taco Bell and collapsed on the couch. That was my day.
