The sun is shining and it is Friday, what a good combination!! I am off to a meeting at the office, then dh and I are leaving at noon for a getaway weekend to a beautiful B&B on the ocean. Can't wait!

Good morning!! A friday and the last day of school! woohoo!!
I am babysitting my great niece today too. she is 4 months old and a little angel baby. I really enjoy having her and the boys do too. They are looking forward to us picking them up at school.
After lunch we are off to the pool!!
Kathy-have a great getaway. That sounds like a ton of fun!!

MM! I have my first class today. Environmental Problems. It's the first summer session at the university here. Five days a week 4 hours a day for the next month. I better get an A. It's going to cut into my beach time. lol
I'm hoping HH will dig out the boundries I set up yesterday for the new border gardens along the new chicken coop and along the back of the new school room. I can only hope :-).

I am SO glad it's Friday. Yesterday I finally got all of my Day Care kids back after most of them had been gone for about a week after having the chicken pox. They were SO excited to see each other again... a little bit TOO excited IMO. Ugh!!! :) They were SO wound up and wild... drove me absolutely crazy. LOL It seemed SO peaceful and quiet after they were all finally picked up. LOL Don't get me wrong... I LOVE my kids to be excited about being here and I'm all for having fun... but ALL day it was like one big LONG never ending birthday party. Ugh! LOL Needless to say... I'm hoping they all come back a little bit more settled than they were yesterday. :) If it doesn't rain my friend and I are going to combine our day care's and take them all to the park for a while this afternoon for a picnic... :) I'm just SO ready for my vacation... and that's not for another month and a half yet. LOL

Kathy T... I hope you and dh have a great weekend at the B&B. It sounds like a lot of fun!

arianna... hope your first day of class goes well. It sounds like your in for a very busy month. LOL How is the new addition coming along? Is it done yet?

I"m going over to the neighbors today. Tonight I get my car back from the shop. Dh will be out of town this weekend so it will be just me and the kids. If it's nice out we'll probably do some park hopping or maybe the beach.

Dks get haircuts today and tonight we're going to a parade. Should be fun. Tomorrow dh and I are going to a wedding out of town, so my mom is going to watch the boys - they'll have a blast with grandma! :sillyface

It's sunny here and no rain clouds. Yahoo. It should be a nice weekend afterall. Dh left to get some work done and bil's cottage and will be back tomorrow. I take the dog to the vet for her weigh in and then off to zellers. I am going to use my points to order the kids a luggage set for each of the boys. It has boats, planes and trains on it I think.
Kathy, enjoy your weekend getaway. It sounds wonderful.
Beth, have fun with the kids. Babies are so fun, I would love to have one to cuddle up with for a while.
Arianna, hope you get what you want around your garden/chicken coop.

Sounds like everyone is very busy.
We had our swim meet last night (the rain never really came). DD did so well! She got first in her individual free style, and 6th in individual butterfly..thought that was great considering she just learned it last week! LOL
DS called this morning and he is having great fun. Had his picture taken in front of our family home in Williamsburg (there is a picture of me in front of it at 11, so we will hang them together!). He sounded very tired, but very happy.
Think dd is going to have a friend spend the night tonite, and she and I might go get a manicure and pedicure today.

Oh you must!!! It is so wonderful to have someone rub your feet!!! This shop I go to is small and they only charge $17 for a pedicure...at the spa's I go to out of town they are usually $60!!!!
DD had a blast, one lady did her toes while the another did her manicure..she was so wide eyed the whole time!

tired today...sun was shinning now it looking like rain...got the lawn mowed yesterday, yes that were I was all day...and dd and I have been lounging most of the morning, she did the bubble bath thing, and I've just been puttering around the house, cooking some veggie soup for dinner, and maybe making some bread....hope you all have a wonderful evening...

AnnW...sounds like ds is having fun...gald he called you....Love those picture of your kids in places that you once were....I have a great photo of me and my dad at disneyland, and hope to get the kids and my dad in the same spot....

Hearing about it makes me want one all the more!! :) The gal that permed my hair does them, but do I dare trust her! Seeing how I asked for body and got a head full of curl who knows what she would/could do to my feet! :newwink: LOL!

Beautiful day here today. Perfect: low 70's, low humidity, breezy, high wispy clouds. Major computer problems. Dh just got everything back up - lost everything. Now I'm trying to catch up here. Sounds like everyone is having a good Friday.
