Dh's has his networking meeting, so will be getting up early to get him off to that. I'm going to hit some garage sales. Now that I have my car back I'll be able to buy bigger/better things, at least now I have the car/room to put everything I buy. LOL

Picking my mom up at 2:00 to take her for a hair appointment. She's getting a cut/perm, so will probably take a few hours for her to get done. I'm going to leave her my cell phone so she can call me when she's all done. I think I'm going to stop at the bakery, which is right next to the hair place, to see what all they have there, then will come back home to make dinner. I'm hoping she gets done way before we eat or at least after, but I have a feeling it will probably end up being right in the middle of our dinner. LOL I just don't want her trying to walk there or back home because it's way too hot/humid for her to do that. I can only hope that they do a good job on her perm, otherwise I'll have to listen to her go on about what a rotten job they did. :) The last time she went in they left the perm in too long and it fried her hair. Ugh... It wasn't a very fun trip back home. :rolleyes: but I couldn't blame her for being angry.

Well, I have a school meeting at 2:00 today in the multi purpose room. I hope they have signs up since this is a brand new school, and I am not too sure where the multi purpose room is...lol.

I finally got my test strips yesterday. They gave me the wrong ones at first, so I went back and said, hey these aren't right. Then they switched them for me. :yippee:

I am going to go to the banks in town today and see about refinancing our house. When we finaced it the first time, we had to get the five years fixed and rest could go up or down. Well of course it went up. We have enough credit now, we should be able to get it fixed for the rest of the time, so I am hoping to start on that today.

Morning. About to go wake dd so she can get to the golf course on time. She's been invited to spend the day/night with a friend so this will be the 3rd night she's spent away from home this week. :lol:

Dh's b'day get together was fun and of course, bil's kids showed up which was nice but I just wish they could TELL me they are coming. Gottta start priming the bathroom and this would be a good day to do it, I just don't feel like it. :)

Working. It looks like more rain is in our future. It seems like a lot of us are getting a lot of rain this summer...some more than others. I'm grateful we haven't had it as bad as the East coast or Houston. Going to see my Dad tonight.

We had a real gully-washer this morning! 8o I woke up around 4:00 thinking dh had turned the shower on full blast and gotten back in bed. :lol: It was still raining up until about 20 minutes ago. It was so nice to turn my alarm off and snuggle back down under the covers. :)

More lesson planning today! :D I don't know how you teachers do it on a regular basis! :tearhair: I'm frazzled and it's taken me all this time just to do lesson plans and material lists for eight subjects. I still have five more to do once all the books get here in the mail. And that's only three week's worth! :nervous: I hope it gets easier and quicker.

I'm hoping to go grocery shopping today, but I'm not sure if that will happen or not. Maybe tomorrow.

I just woke up at 10!! It's going to be hard to get back into the school time schedule for me! We had some rain overnight which we needed badly. We have no plans today. Whee!!!!!

No plans until 4:30pm today. I will not leave this house....I will not leave this house.....I've been driving all over the metroplex this week. OK, I might leave, but only on foot. I've got to exercise and lose some weight. Dh and I were determine to do it before the wedding, but ended up just being fat and happy.

When day does your Garage Sales usually start? ? Our's always start on Thursday's and go on through Saturday. We actually had one open yesterday (Wednesday) that I went to, but they had nothing but garbage. Today I found/got a new VCR... still in the box, for $5.00. My other one broke on Tuesday... it wouldn't release the tape. Dh took it apart and there was a little broken belt. :( I figured I couldn't go wrong with this. I usually only use it when I have Sarah here and I want to record my soaps. (Y&R and All My Children) I'd much rather spend her time here with me playing with her, not watching soaps. LOL

Hope your dd has a great time. Sounds like she's been pretty busy. I'm also glad to hear that your dh's party was a great success. I'm glad everyone showed up... even those you didn't know about. :(

Yard (not called garage, here, LOL) sales are mainly only Saturdays. Occasionally, you'll see one adverstised Fri. and Sat. but not very often.
Great deal on the VCR!!! LOVE finds like that.

I think I'm going to blow off the bathroom and go to the pool myself. LOL
My tan is fading and I'd be happy to go later this afternoon and see if dh wants to meet me there with supper. :)

Waiting for Ann's rain to make it here. The southern part of the state has gotten quite a bit of rain, but so far we are still dry. It's cloudy and a bit cooler but still no rain.

Ex-dil was late getting her this a.m. I was afraid something had happened. She looked frazzled. Said she wanted to let dgd sleep, but it looked more like she wanted the sleep for herself. Both babies are sleeping right now. I think I will be keeping them one more week. Was going to use next week to work at school, but most of my planning can still be done at home. I have 2 weeks of workshops starting on Aug. 7, so they will definitely be going back to day care then.

Not motivated to do much of anything today.

Hey all! ROFL Renee for carrying over the work situation to this thread. :) I can tell you now I won't step foot in that place again after tomorrow. Lovey has increasingly stepped over the line in the disrespect area. I swear I must be an evil genious because instead of getting hurt or angry, I turn around and do the one thing I think he is extremely phobic about-Touch. So what do I do when his back is turned towards me? Big bear hugs! ROFL It literally freaks him out. He told me today if I were to ever do that again, then I shouldn't even show up to work tomorrow. I then told *S* to put a stamp on my paycheck and mail it to me. Lovey chimes in and says I won't be receiving my last check until I hand in my office key. So the fact that I have been loyal and have gone beyond what is necessary to ensure that place survives without me and he has the gall to think I would screw them in the end???

I could end things tomorrow with a big confrontation, but that would give him satisfaction or the chance to say I took him all wrong. I will have a master plan-none which he will expect. LOL

Dd left and I ended up napping for 3 hours!!!! I've NEVER done that! I felt so badly when I was sound asleep when dh came home after work. :lol: He said he'd called before he left the office and I didn't even hear the phone. Yikes!
He's wiped out from a big project he'd worked on this week, so we were quite a sad pair tonight.

ran the drycleaners, Pet Mart for doggie chow...home for a Huge Salad, with Crumbled fried chicken strips....yummy :drool: entire family pigged out...now watching BB allstars...
