I am new!!

Hi everyone,

My name is Stacie. I live in FL. I am hapily married and have a four month old. His name is Kaleb and he is just wonderful. Being a mother is the best thing I have ever done. And he is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Of course, my husband, too. :) I work from home and love it. I couldn't bear the thought of placing him in day care or someone's home day care. I get to spend a lot of time with him and that is important to me. Well, that's all for now!!

I'm a fellow Newbie... :D

I'm with you that being a mommy is all I ever wanted to do and it's wonderful.

My daughter asked me not long ago, "Mom, what's daycare?". I'm so glad I have been able to be home with her these 5 years - I'm really going to miss her this coming September when she starts kindergarten.
So, enjoy your little man - I'm sure he's a blast!

BTW, where in FL do you live and what do you do from home?

Hi and Welcome! :) I'm a sahm, too - sort of. I think I'm more of a taxi driver these days and full time volunteer! My kids are 9, 13, and 15....and keep me very busy :) And I agree, being a mother is the BEST!

Hi Stacy... and welcome to the board. I'm a SAHM (kind of) Actually I've been a Licensed Home Child Care Provider for about 22 years now. :) I've always felt that I had the best of both worlds... being able to stay at home and take care of my own children and being able to watch them grow, AND also being able to share in the joy of caring for other people's children. I think it's wonderful that you have chosen to be a SAHM, and that you are able to spend so much time with your ds. I am sure that he will always have a lot of great memories of all the good times you both spent doing fun things together. Being a mom is the absolute BEST~~~ :)

I hope to see a lot more of you on the board. I'm sure that you will find that there are a lot of great people here!

Thanks for all the welcomes!!! I can see that I am at a great board! To answer a couple of questions I am in Jacksonville, FL and I am with Naturally Moms. If anyone wants information on it feel free to email me. It is a great opportunity, I love it. But really I am just here to make friends. It looks like I found a good group. :o)

I am a SAHM summertime mom. I work during the school year as a library clerk...great hours....same as our kids. I am looking forward to July and summer holidays. Our kids are dd -ten, dd- nine (on the 13th) and ds- six.

I am soon to be a SAHM, for how long I don't know, but for a year or so anyway. Our family is in the process of moving due to dh job promotion.
I currently have dd -9, avid gymnast, ds - 5, future NHLer(so he claims), and three little ones on the way, (1 dd, 1 ds, 1 mystery baby - playing shy whenever I have an ultrasound)

Keep posting, we always like hearing from new members. Welcome once again!!!!!!

Congrats and goodluck! that is so exciting!! It sounds like you already have your hands full. If I lived near you I would definitely help you out. I hope that someone will be able to help you. Let me know when you find out what the shy one is. How far along are you? And do you have any names picked out yet? Have a great day. (and get plenty of rest!!)
