You're going to have to wait for her official definition- she left for FL this morning! :grimace:
I looked it up and this is what I found (http://www.bible.org.za/LifeChange%20Resources/Video/Leadersguides/HMH.htm)
The Helper is to actively "manage the house" under the husband’s authority as the "despot of the oikos." (1Timothy 5:14)
Greek oikos means the "home" and its "affairs." (1 Timothy 5:14)
Greek despot means to "menage" and "oversee." (1 Timothy 5:14)
thanks.....I would have gone bonkers waiting until she returned....thanks again...

Oh KarlaB!! I am totally impressed that you figured that one out!! That definition is correct, something I learned in the last bible study I was in. I felt it to be sooo empowering. Not like I was just a mom and a housekeeper, but the "monarch of my household." Totally under my control!! I have the power to do it all!!!! Well, maybe everything but the laundry, dh does that. LOL!!!!!!!!
