How strange! Only two topics of new messages this morning!

Everyone must be out enjoying the day. Not much on the agenda today. Have to get groceries sometime today. It sounds like dh and the kids will come with so that will be a nice big fat bill! LOL

We'll probably go in to dh's brother later today--maybe go swimming. If we're lucky bil and his wife may watch the kids so we can go do something for our anniversary. (Kind of doubt it though. They have one son and get nervous/ frustrated watching all our kids LOL)

Dh is still on the job search. He has some leads that are looking pretty promising. I'll update when I know some specifics.

Better get dd's birthday invitations printed and in the mail--that's only a week away! Don't know where the time goes!

Have a great day all!!!!!!!

Good Morning! I'm trying to catch up some here...this week has been hectic. Two more days of school and then maybe some time to settle down - I hope!

The weather here is miserble...cool and rain. It's been that way for two weeks now :( It definitely does not feel like June. This morning ds had music lessons and so far that is the only set plan for the day. I need to get busy with teacher gifts....still thinking on that one!

Linda, good luck with dh's job! I hope all works out. And, I hope you get to go swimming!

Ann, I hope you feel better soon. I'm still fighting a sinus thing so I can relate. Have fun at the game and dinner!! Enjoy the grownup time ! :)

Dh and I are off to a wedding this afternoon. Oldest ds woke up saying, "It's special Grandma day today" and when I went to run an errand this morning youngest ds was chasing me out the door saying, "See gramma!" Oldest ds just asked me again when she is coming. I said after lunch. His reply, "Can we eat lunch now?" I think they are just a little excited to have her to themselves! :)

Linda - Good luck to your dh! Hope something comes along soon!
Ann - Hope you're feeling better soon and have fun at the game! :) btw - Yesterday on Oprah I heard that the Kathie Lee(?) line of clothing at WalMart sells more than Donna Karan.
Rae - Hope it warms up for you soon. We're still waiting for real summer weather, too! :bigcry:

:) Happy Saturday everyone! :)

Also, when is your dd bday.....our dd turns 9 on the 13th!

Darlene,
Our anniversary is today. 12 years!

DD's birthday is the 9th. Dh's is the 13th also. I've met quite a few people who's birthday is the 13th.

What book are you reading? That sounds like an enjoyable activity. I haven't done that for quite a while.

Karla, a wedding sounds like fun! Hope your kids have fun with Gramma.

Rae, I was so tired of the rain too. We finally had a couple nice days. And, yes, we did get to the pool. The youngest 2 got tired so we walked to the park for a little while.

AnnW, hope you get to feeling better. That's no fun!

Well just checked in quickly while waiting for dh and ds#1 to come in for supper. Hope the rest of the weekend goes well!!! :)

Happy Anniversary!!! :happydnc:

June is really busy around here too....2 anniversaries and 4 birthdays in the immediate family! And a new niece/nephew to arrive around the end of June or beginning of July!

The book I read (finished it today!) was called Hunter's Moon by Karen Robards. I really enjoyed it. Kinda a murder mystery/love story. Good light reading for the weekend.

:)

Happy early Anniversary DianeP!!!

Linda, ~~ Happy Anniversary :Party::Party::Party:
Hope it was great!!!

Good luck to dh on his job leads. I keep you in my prayers.

Karla, ~~ How was the wedding??? I love weddings as long as I don't have to be in them. Too expensive. We have two to go to this summer. dd is in one (junior bridesmaid) and ds in the other (ringbearer)

AnnW, ~~ Hope your stuffy head is giving you a break. I hate that feeling.

The wedding was a lot of fun and dks had a blast with my mom! When we got home ds was still up and he looked disappointed that we were back! :bawling:

I agree about being in weddings - I think my bridesmaid days are over. :) My brother got married last fall. I was in it, dh was an usher and oldest ds was a ringbearer - it got to be quite expensive as it was also out of town and we had to stay over two nights. Ds was TOO cute though!! :D It will be exciting for your dks to be in weddings this summer!! :)
