Dd1 is taking an online sign language course (www.signingonline.com) and I'm wondering how to give her credit for this course.

It states that... "If you are an educator, we offer State Board Approved Continuing Education Units (SB-CEUs) for the "Learning ASL Series" of courses. You can earn 1.5 CEUs for each course (or 6 CEUs to take all four!)" and "If you are a nurse, we offer Continuing Education contact hours for the "Learning ASL Series" of courses. You can earn 18 CEs for each course (or 72 CEs to take all four!)."

From that information can anyone tell me how to assign a high school class credit? I can't figure out if each course level gets one credit, or if all four levels equal one credit.

We count 2 hour trainings as .25 CEUs.So that's 12 "face"hours in 1 course. College credits are usually 12 or 12.5 "face hours" each. So I'd count one course as 1 college credit. For high school??? Well, you have to convert that!! Hope I helped a little........
