I can't believe I'm awake and up this early... at 4:00 AM some @&*%$ idiot decided that they needed some debris removed from their yard. I don't have a clue who it was or what it was that needed removing so bad that they needed to do it that early in the morning... but a little payloader showed up and they removed... whatever it was. Anyway... it was loud/noisey and I'm sure woke up half of the neighborhood. Dh fell back to sleep... I couldn't. Can't believe someone would be stupid enough to do something like that, that early in the morning.
Dh's got his networking meeting this morning. I'm going to go REtake my motorcycle "permit" test. Mine expired yesterday. I could retake my licensing skills test without it being renewed... but I wouldn't be able to ride it down there the next time I took my test, nor would I be able to take it out all weekend..., so decided to just go take/pass it, even if it's only to use for a few day's before I retake my test. It will just be so nice when I'm all done with the skills test, I won't ever have to take it ever again.
Dd #3 called me last night, I guess she was sick with the stomach flu all day. I had a touch of it Saturday/Sunday and Monday... thought it was nerves but not too sure about that now. She has it a lot worse than I did... she even had to call into work because of it. I'm hoping she's feeling much better this morning. She quit her job and will be starting back at the hotel she left before she moved. Their old night auditor quit so they called/asked her to come back. The timing was right for her because they'll be moving back over this way when their lease is up, so she wanted to work close to where she lived. That and... it's a much safer area over here. :) After that hold up in their parking lot, the rapist and weirdo guy over there... that was just enough. :( She'll be a lot less busy over here, so all in all it's a much better place to be. I for one am happy, and I won't have to worry about her so much anymore.
Nothing else on my agenda for the day... except going back to bed. :) Dh's got to be up in an hour but if I'm lucky I'll fall back to sleep right away.
Hope you all have a good day.

Hope you got back to sleep Diane and glad to hear dd has a different job!
Leaving for the beach today. :yippee: Taking another family with us; wish us luck, it's never worked out very nicely the last two times we've tried to do that. LOL
I just need to pack our suitcase and the car, run some errands and we're outta here as soon as dh and the other dh can leave work. :walkin:

Diane - I hope you can nap today
sista - I hope you have fun in spite of what has happened previously.
I got up early and filled food pantry orders at church. Big kids are getting ready for school. Dd#2 and I are heading to the zoo for a day of fun and then she has soccer practice tonight. That should be hilarious!
Have a great day all!

Morning!
I so want to go back to sleep...woke up with dbf and just wasn't going back to sleep. It's going to be a long day. I'm working and We need to get everything moved onto the carpets so they can wax the floors. Next week is gonna be crazy....we need to reorganize everything and condense it all since were sharing our space with the morning toddler program.
So I made a really strong pot of coffee to get me moving...figure...if I get out of here and go to the dollar store to get stuff we need for work then go to work....I'll wake up.
Might just need an Iced latte from Dunkin Donuts. :nervous:
Good morning. Working today. Taking ds to an ortho appt. this afternoon...he's getting his x-rays and impressions done. He spent the night at some friend from school's farm with a bunch of other kids. They were tenting it. I'm betting he'll be tired today, lol.
Ordered a new faster computer through work and our IT guy is coming to our house to set it up for us tonight. DS and I are very excited about this.
Have fun sista!
Diane, hope you get some sleep today.
Angie, enjoy the zoo with dd.

Just got home from work and I'm tired. Don't know if I should try a 15 minute power nap or not. Going to apply for another job. It's further away from the house than what I work now, but it would at least be a job I would like (well, maybe).

Where is everybody today?
Just when I thoughtI couldn't buy a job, I've suddenly got too many opportunities. I think what I'm going to do is take the positions that 2 private clinics are offering. I think I can still juggle kids and dh with those two.

OUch, Ann... So sorry to hear about your back. (coming from someone who has back problems and knows what you're going through) Take care, and I hope it feels better real soon. (((Hugs)))

I had to retake my permit test for my cycle this morning. It expired yesterday, so had no choice. It's good for another year... but am planning on retaking my skills (license) test within the next few weeks. Of course... I got 100%, but then again I guess I should have seeing I'd already taken it once before. LOL Two other people there didn't pass the motorcycle permit test, so had to make appointments to take it over again tomorrow.
Sitting in there brought back memories from when my kids were 16 and looking forward to getting their drivers licenses. Some of them came back from taking their driver's tests and were so excited and happy because they had passed, while other's walked back in with tears because they didn't quite make it. Funny how some of the parents actually looked relieved when their kids walked in with the not so good news. :(
Went to a garage sale this morning and got two huge bages full of clothes for Sarah. There were about 6 pair of pajamas, several jeans/shirts, along with a bunch of other matching outfits, ALL in perfect conditioin... and name brand stuff. :) If she had gone out and bought this stuff bran new in the store... she would have spent a mint. Thank God for Garage Sales. LOL

Evening all!
Been a busy week. Took oldest dd to equestrian camp on Sunday (3 hour drive each way) and we go back to pick her up on Saturday.
I have been busy with auction sale prep. I now do the advertising for the sales and we have 13 coming up!
I also interviewed for a new job yesterday...the interview in my opinion went great, but the job is dependant on a lady who is on the fence about leaving it, so no news yet. I would be one of many receptionists at our local medical clinic.
Dh and ds have been busy with harvest so I don't see them very much lately.
Diane...good luck with your re-test for your license...I see you are done the written one :yippee: so good luck when you go back for your road test. I hear you about the yard sales...we lucked out at one earlier this summer and basically outfitted the girls for back to school! Now that's my kind of shopping!
Jen...hope all works out at the beach.
Angie...hard to believe school is back...we have 3 more weeks!
Vea...ever considered meditation...may help you relax.
Bev...faster computers are always a bonus!
Jak...hope you come across a job that is perfect for you and close to home.
Donna...good luck with the job choices...alot of us seem to be changing jobs lately.
Ann...sounds like a massage is in your forcast..hope your back is better soon.
Cathy...how many kids will you have left at home with you/dh this fall? I can only image the $$ it is costing you with kids in college!!
Think I'll head out for my :walkin: I have been sitting on this dang computer too much in the past few days.
:)

We'll have one in 8th grade, a senior in HS, and one at community college. Should be quieter around here. My oldest graduates from college in December. She called me Tuesday to say, "I've just paid my final tuition bill." YAHOO!!! One down, 5 to go........ LOL
Good luck on the new job. I hope you get what you want.

Hi all,
Made it to my parents okay. Got in yesterday. I was so bagged. lol Didn't get as much sleep in the night on the train as I would have liked. A lot of snorers. ugh. Eventually, I got some. Kids liked it okay, food was an issue, or trying to get it. 150 Teenagers on our train so they ran out of a lot. I'm sure the way home will be better. We're all excited to finally be here and get to visit my mom and dad. Dh is making a new hall closet up stairs near the bathroom. I need one so was just about doing cartwheels when he told me. I do have one up there but it's small and doesn't hold enough blankets/pillows and air mattresses. So...cool!
I feel so clueless to what's going on here, going to try to catch up a little if I can. Still feeling nauseas, actually am growing so fast that some jean capris don't fit anymore so I got a pair of maternity already. They don't look like it though, at least not with a long t-shirt. lol
Have a good night :)

My problem is that I tend to juggle until everything comes crashing down. I need one of those signs for my back that says "If I don't ask for help, confront me".
