Haven't started a thread in a really long time! I'm trying to get into my "school mode", and that includes waking up by alarm clock again. Yawn!!! My days of leisure are over.... :bawling: .
Going to school for most of the day, and then I have my Kindergarten "Meet and Greet" tonight at a park. Weather is supposed to cooperate. Yeah!

Getting the boys ready for school. This is the first week that I've had ds3 since school started. We've got some relearning to do! Here 9 year old boys tye there own shoes, pack their snack for school, take the medicine that their doctor prescribed.......arghhhhh. I guess I'll reschedule his doctor's appointment since we can't really let the doctor know how he's doing on the medication since school started if his Dad didn't give it to him.

Good morning! My kids are off to school, dd#2 spent the night at MIL/FIL's again last night. She has been staying there a lot lately trying to get all the time in she can before they head south. I'm going to the church to get my restocking done. Tonight is brichard's company picnic at a baseball game. It'll be a late night for a school night, but lots of fun!
The weather here is perfect in the low to mid 80's with mostly sunny skies all week!
Good sunny morning. Of course when it's Monday and we're back at work, the weather is nicer. Saturday it rained all day and was humid. Sunday was windy, cold (ds and I had blankets at dh's ball game) and cloudy.
Working and going to see my Dad tonight...think I'll run there and back for some exercise.
Can I go back to bed? I'm sooo tired! Nothing going on today until this evening when ds2 has open house at preschool. :) Hopefully today won't be as humid as yesterday was!
Morning, well back to reality. I wish I was a SAHM again. oh well its good to have memories of the past. :) Kids are going to the Y this last week and I am going to work. Need to hit the supermarket, never seemed to get there over the weekend....still need to get all the school supplies as well...argh...
Have a great Monday all.

How's your dad liking where he's living? I'll bet you love how close he is to you now. :)

It's nice and sunny outside right now but I guess it's suppose to start raining by noon. I'm hoping the rain holds off because I'd like to take Sarah to the park for a while to run off some of her energy... LOL Were also going to be making some banana bread and chocolate chip cookies. :)
I've already been to the grocery store and I've got some laundry to throw in, but besides that I have no big plans. I've still got to decide what to make for dinner tonight. Gotta dig around in my freezer and see what I have.
Hope you all have a great day!

I thank God almost every day for returning him to his home "town". He likes it there. I don't think the nurses are quite as "friendly" as at the home he was in in Brampton (meaning they really get to know the patients there), but it's ealy yet and they still treat him well and he likes them...they keep telling him they have hard shoes to fill based on the nice card he received from the nurses in Brampton, lol.

That's great.... I'm glad things worked out well for all of you. :)

Most of the staff is back. It went well, with no surprises. I love that part! I think it's going tobe a great year. Lots of scheduling and setting up home visits. Tomorrow is heavy classroom set-up. We've got a load of trainings planned, with opening day on September 5. So far, so good.
Bev, I'm glad it's going well. Does your dad have more visitors since he's 'home'?

Woke up early this morning... tried to log in here but the computer was being quite uncooperative. Kept forwarding me to ds' hockey game. :computer: :tearhair: figured... ok... maybe I am suppose to play this game..... (foreign concept to me...can't remember the last time I played computer games) so gave it a try.
ds came out while I was playing and had a good laugh. I lost 36 - 2. He patted me on the back and told me I had better hang up my skates. I agree. I don't even know how I got the two goals I did. He clicked a couple of buttons and it stopped forwarding me to the game, but by then everyone was waking up so just signed off.
When we went to the grocery store on the weekend they gave each of the kids a canvas lunch bag with removable insulated liner.... some promotion gimmik to advertise their "Grand Re-opening". The bags are just plain solid colour (got to pick what colour they wanted) so we pulled out the fabric paint box and they each decorated their own bags. ds wrote names of all his favourite hockey teams all over his. The girls got quite creative. dd#1 just left hers plain. She won't use it anyway. Now that she is in high school, she want to get her lunch in the cafeteria.
Not much up tonight. May curl up with a good book.

Spent the wknd at the my sister's for the county fair. I ate LOTS of junk and loved every minute of it. LOL! Hated coming back to reality and having to cook again tonight. ;) Dh is coaching ds's 4th grade fb team, so they had practice tonight and then ds had a friend come home with them to spend the night - trying to get in all of the last minutes sleep-overs before school starts back up. :bawling: Made cookies tonight and now the boys are requesting 'homemade' popcorn aka popcorn on the stove and not out of the microwave. LOL

Grrr! Hope you can get them back in their routine easily and that your ex shapes up with rules/responsibilities soon!! :tearhair:
