Does anyone know if there are any kits out there that have all the manipulatives for this story? The last clinic I was at had just about everything I needed, but now I'm working contract and am almost completely responsible for my own materials. Any ideas? Thanks!

Oh wait, I just saw the Lakeshore kits, and I like those, too! Maybe I'll get Brown Bear from them. I think there's a Lakeshore store in Dallas. I might just go there and look around. Thanks again, I really did look online myself, just nothing was coming up for me.

I love all the Eric Carle Books. If you are going to read the books too them I totally recommended the large hard covered books....They either have sound or pull out sort of things....Not sure if those are available in library and they are kind of expensive but nice.

We have a huge board book version of it and you can pull a little stuffed caterpillar thru holes on all of the pages as he eats his way thru. :) I got it from the Children's Book of the Month Club years ago. Dks have all loved it. :)

I've got a lot of books from my own boys, but what I need are the objects to elicit speech from some of my low level kids. Its really a pain to gather everything up, but worse to put it all back if it came from another set of something (like a test kit or game).

Thanks again, Vea! I got this in the mail the other day, and used it with a couple of my clients on Thursday (some just to elicit object naming, but also as a way to elicit storytelling with one of my fluency kids). It's a lot of fun! Very nice for the money.
