and now I'm nervous! LOL I liked the Doctor and his assistant seems nice. She did the same program I am doing right now. He pretty much said he would hire me, but had a few more interviews lined up and he would call me either way and let me know by the end of the week. The hours would be prefect (LOTS for time off). He didn't tell me exactly how much he pays (that's the one part I didn't like). He likes that I live so close, that I'm going to be here for several years and that my kids are healthy. Now I get to sit back and wait. :nervous: That's the part I don't like. I know one of the other girls in my class called about the job and did not get asked to come in for an interview and another one called and has an interview set up (which she said she probably won't go to). I didn't tell them that I had called about the job too. I just wanted to keep that to myself. Please keep the good thoughts coming.

There are different types of pay in the area. Some jobs only pay 400 Euro a month, others 600 and others 800. Then some pay by the hour (but not very often). He said the pay would not be for someone who needs 2 incomes to survive. (I never thought it would be because the office is only open about 20 hours a week.) He said it would be a job for someone who wants "fun money". He said it doesn't pay enough that I would have to pay German taxes and the mandatory taxes are paid by him each and every year for each of his employees. I'm thinking it might be a 400 Euro (over $500) job, but I'm not sure. I'd be OK with that pay. He told me her pays every 2 weeks and will give me a figure when/if I'm hired. His dw is a school teacher so he takes all school holidays off, including 2 weeks at Christmas and 1 week for spring break. I still think he works in the summer though. The office in only open 2 1/2 days a week. I LIKE the hours. I want a part time job, not a full time job. He has no problems training me on the things I do not know. He seems like a nice guy and one of the guys dh works with has been going to him for several years. The Dr has been at his current location for 25 years.

I found out today at work that a few of the other girls had interviews as well. If one of the other girls gets it I will be happy for her. If any of the others get it over me I will be disappointed as they are not very good workers. We will hear something on Friday.
