This Friday C High School plays G High School in football. The game is at G. My oldest ds is a senior at C High School and is on the football team. We live in G, and my middle son is a freshman at G High School. When we go to the game on Friday, I'm thinking we should sit on the visitor side since we'll be cheering for my oldest son during the game, and I don't think it would be too cool to be doing that from the home side. Middle ds will probably sit on the home side since that's his school and his friends will be there. I cannot tell you how much I'd love to just sit over on the home side where no one knows us, and all we have to worry about is the game. I can't really do that though, can I? What do you think?
Hmmm...I tcan see why you're conflicted. I'd probably sit on the visitor side too.

When I was in high school, we used to sit on the visitor's side and cheer for the home team all the time--to be annoying! LOL! I remember there being some adults on the visitor's side who would cheer with us (maybe they were just sitting with friends whose son was on the opposing team?)--but I think it can be awkward if you're a rambunctious cheerleader...or if you're sitting by rambunctious cheerleaders for the opposing team when they are winning. ;)

You could always sit on one side for half, then switch.

If I was in Montreal, I can bet my bottom dollar that is not who I would be cheering for unless they weren't playing Ottawa. Then I would. Especially if they were playing Toronto. :goofy: So, I think you should sit where ever you feel comfortable and cheer for your son. The people who are around you and know you will understand and probably have some fun with you opposing for opposite teams. This way you can still see and chat with friends. Have fun!
