Fall Decor

Do you all decorate your house for the Fall, or start for Halloween and then move into Thanksgiving? I am feeling really FALL lately, I took some of my fall decorations out...NOTHING Hoilday specific....I have some leave and fall like dried floral arrangements....little pumpkins, corn and orange/brown candles....
all the cinnamon, pumpkin spice candles....

just curious what other people do

I used to put lots of Halloween stuff out, but have been really lazy about it the past fews yrs and do more of the general fall stuff now - if anything at all. I did just buy a bunch of "fall" scented candles at Yankee this week and have been burning them.

On another holiday note - I was out with dd last night and Shopko has all of their Christmas stuff out!! It's SEPTEMBER!! :banghead:

Uh, Hallmark has had xmas ornaments out since JULY! Talk about UGH!

I bought Autumn wreath and love it! Also bought a mix of 8 votives (4 different scents) that I put in an old old muffin tin...autumn wreath, spiced pumpkin, cinnamon vanilla?? and something cranberry?? My memory fails me...again!! :rolleyes: Love mixing them - it's like walking into Yankee and getting a smell of lots of diffent yummy scents. :)

A freakin' stage show, holiday room where it snows every 15 mins., a candle museum, and a Build A Bear type shop.... overwhelming to say the least (but fun).

YES, YES, YES!! I LOVE fall!! With everything being dead all summer, I can't wait to get out my fall/Halloween stuff. I do pumpkins, wreaths, lights, etc. then after Halloween, I turn the Jack O'lanterns around backwards so they're just pumpkins. :)

If I decorate (meaning if I feel like it that year), I do Halloween and then Thanksgiving. The day after Thanksgiving I start putting up Christmas.

I do have a fall wreath type thing that goes on my door though, so it could be for both.

Oh the muffin tin is a great idea...

Isn't fall fun...the smells, the colors, the new tv season...the kids back in school...ok I LOVE FALL....

Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year!!! I love the smell in the air.I love the feel of the air, and I love the crunch of the leaves under my feet.

I do little things for fall and halloween but don't go all out unless I find the time or feel like putting up the halloween stuff. The kids love to help decorate for halloween. I always mean to do more for fall but never really think of it. lol

We usually just decorate for Halloween, and then take it all down after Halloween. But this year, I saw some really neat fall decorations at Pottery Barn, so I'm thinking I'll incorporate them into my Halloween decor, and leave them up through Thanksgiving.

Fall is one of my favorite seasons too. I'm always ready for the cooler weather. Spring is my 2nd fave season, cause I'm always ready for the warmer weather to start again. lol

In the house I have more fall than halloween decorations but the kids go wild decoration outside for Halloween. We always have a big party for the kids classes out in the driving shed. dh and his brothers are already planning their deorations/ set up etc. We always have a good turn out so should be fun.
