I can't believe it's October already. Where has the time gone? Not much planned for the day. I'm going to fill out another job application and possibly get it turned in depending on what time I get finished. It's only 6:15 so I have a bit of time. Have a few errands to run and a house to clean. That's my day.

LOl... Not quite Monday here yet.

Picking my mom up and taking her to the grocery store. I have to pick up a few things for our neighborhood block party that is on Wednesday. Were having it a little late this year but at least were having it. Everyone's been so busy. :) I've got to call our old neighbor and invite them too. It's suppose to be nice outside, so keeping my fingers crossed that the forecast doesn't change. :)

Not much else.
Good luck with your job search, JAK...

Not much on today. Ds3 is really fighting this cold so I'll be keeping him home today. He coughed a lot but remained sleeping. Poor boo.
Depending on how he's doing, I may take a run to Walmart to get slippers. My feet have been freezing the last few days. I hate having cold ankles. If he's not the best I'll wait and take a run out when dh gets home. Other than that, organizing in the kitchen.
Hope you all have a good day :)

Good luck today, Renee!

Good morning. Have the day off. Had a blast at the Buffalo/Minny game yesterday (even though my Vikes lost). Did some tailgating and met some interesting people, lol. Even dh had a good time and he's not into football like ds and I (and the other two we went with) are. The threat or rain left and we had a nice sunny afternoon at the field. I could get used to weekends like that.

Yep, Buffalo tailgating is a sport in itself. LOL

Well, I got in my exercise and half of my strength training for the day. I feel fantastic since starting this sparks program. Even dd was shocked last night when I was trying on some new clothes that she saw an ab! ROFLMAO

Renee-good luck on the first day!

Not much happening today. I'm totally exhausted. Felt gross yesterday and ended up taking cold medicine that made me jittery and unable to sleep most of the night. :bawling:

We've barrelled through Dd2's History, Science and Dd1's Spelling. Dd2 is working on Language Arts right now and then has spelling, math and handwriting left. Thankfully she can do the rest of it w/minimal help from me. Once I help dd1 with her Language Arts (literature discussions) then I can crash. One of the things I love about homeschool is you can whip through things with no distractions and no breaks if they're not needed. The girls rarely take breaks during the morning and since we start our day at 6:30 we're usually done around noon.

Housework here and there and a bit of laundry and I'm done for the day. :D

Jak, good luck with the hunt.

Diane, I thought it was already pretty cool in MN, esp. in the evenings. 8o I hope ya'll don't freeze at the party!

Mel, I hope your ds feels better. :(

Vea, I hope today goes smoothly for you.

Renee... GOOD LUCK!!!! :bounce:

Bev, enjoy your day off. :)

Amy, it sounds like you might have found your niche and your abs, LOL!. I don't think mine exist anymore!

Today actually went pretty smoothly....except a few minor issues....The day started with the girls pushing mom out the door...LOL....we played a while read stories...etc. then the excitement started...mom called too check on them and when the little one heard her mothers voice she started crying...for the next 1/2 hour....then we went out to play on the swing set and she got stung by a bee....another 45 minutes of crying...luckily no real reaction...definately not allergic...sang songs and reand stories...after that it was smooth sailing.!!!

I am probably shocking the heck out of my body. I think I must have been eating at least a 1000 calories more than I do now and not even realizing it until I had to track every portion size and calories. I am averaging 1300 calories a day-how could I NOT lose weight?

Wow... how nice. I like seeing quick results. :) It definitely gives you an incentive to continue on with your diet. :) Congratulations on the weight loss. :)
