And I'm off today!....It's columbus day. Supposed to be a nice day...Not sure what to do yet...dbf doesn't have it off like I thought.May go see friends if they're around.

Pretty quiet around here. Just talked to dd #3. She's on her way over to spend the day with me. Her fiancee will be here shortly... he's got his job interview for the police department in a neighboring city at 1:00 today, so they're just going to sleep here for a while and he'll get ready and go to his interview from here. Keep your fingers crossed for him. He was one of 125 applicants. :) (6 got chosen) Our other SIL applied for the same job but wasn't called for an interview. (very hard when two of your SIL's are applying for the same jobs... :rolleyes: ) They'll be taking their ferrets along with them when they go back home.

Not getting Sarah today. Dawn started on a new medicatioin for her anxiety and it's making her feel very tired. She doesn't trust herself driving so decided to call in sick for the day. Hope it gets better for her once she's been on it for a while.

Need to do some household cleaning... laundry, and that's about it.

Work, home, dinner, and light pickup on this house, ok I never got any house work or laundry done this weekend...I know I am so bad....but I had a nice weekend with dh and the kids...

We hit the New Balance outlet and everyone got sneakers....

Doing a bit of a tidying around the house and have to get the rest of the laundry put away. It rained earlier but it's sunny again so I'm thinking a family walk after dinner is in order. Dinner at sil's yesterday was nice. She was on one sofa, dh and I on the other, we were all talking so calmly that we all zonked. lol The kids all played downstairs so it was a nice nap. Her cat is one of those rare, very calm, huggable cats and he came to cuddle up with me for a nap too. lol
Haven't felt the little 'flutters' from baby yet but felt a little roll and knew just where he/she was. How cool! I can't wait for dh and the kids to be able to feel kicks. :tinysmile
Yeah! The heat wasn't working and dh just got it fixed. What a relief. It was chilly in here but not cold enough to worry about it, but knew we would need it on soon.

Up early baking pumpkin pies to take to SIL's for dinner this afternoon. The girls are now decorating pumpkin shaped sugar cookies to take for all the cousins. Lot's of people but should be a great day... so glad the weather is nice.... don't even need a jacket. Tomorrow is suppose to be cold again so we will enjoy this while it lasts.

Quiet day here. Woke up with a horrible head ache. :\ Need to get groceries, may just wait until tonight so I don't have to take dd along.

Hi there,

Not to much here today.. Made my Thanksgiving dinner yesterday.It turned out good..Going to take the kids bowling this afternoon then. I also haevto work tonight.

Nice Fall day here though the sun is shining.

Having a good Thanksgiving. My BIL came to tell us this a.m. that my niece was admitted to the hospital at 7:30 a.m. to have her baby. She came for dinner last night and reminded me that I told her that if she came and ate my dinner it would send her into labour...I guess it worked, lol. Just found out she had a baby boy at 2:50 pm, but I don't have any other details...I'm waiting for my sister to call now.

Thanks Karla! His name is Gavin Cole. Weight is 7 lbs 11 oz (one ounce shy of my ds's weight) and his length is 18.5 inches. I can't wait to see him.

School, school, and more school. Got home at 6:00. Talked to ds for about 45 minutes. Started supper, then realized that the school board meeting was at 7:00 and I meant to go. Oh well. Chilling with my laptop in front of the TV. I got the vacuum out but since I sat down for supper, I'm not too motivated to get back up. I really need to vacuum and mop though.

Got home from work tonight, sat on the sofa and CRACK, my knee crunched. I'm sitting here with it on ice and elevated and it hurts! It had been slipping all day so maybe it's just getting back in place but I don't know.

We'd be a sight, dd in a sling, me with a bum leg and dh has been sick with a headache for 4 days now (at the back of his neck.... can't figure that out).

I thought yesterday was the Canadians T'gving day - oops! Well, Happy Thanksgiving AGAIN! :)

It was a busy day at work...got lots of things done and off my desk....

hit the gas station at lunch, had Arby's :drool: and then cruised around to see what was by me....

Rushed home, grabbed the kids, hit the pet food store...then took the kids to Red Robin for dinner...Came home folded the laundry and put it away..then started both the dishwasher and another load of laundry....so I feel like I am catching up....LOL

In bed with my laptop and tv....

Yeah! That's exactly what the dr. said! "Baby it for 2 weeks and if it's not better, see the orthopedist." Tomorrow is my day off thankfully and even more thankfully - we have an elevator at church so when I went to work today, I didn't have to do the stairs.

Thanks for the well wishes! The dr. doesn't know what's wrong. MAYBE it's torn cartilidge, MAYBE the kneecap is out of it's normal groove... very frustrating.
