Ok, some of you might remember that about a year ago I had surgery on my shoulder, they removed a cold cyst. Well I got a really ugly scar. Raised and about an in long, really red....I wear alot of sleeveless blouses ( I have my own personal Summers (hot spells)) so I bought the Curad Scar Therapy patches, you cut them to fit and wear them for 12 hours a day, they are clear...well its been two weeks so far and the scar is amazingly smoother, not really raised at all...and the redness is fading....I am so happy....just thought I would share...I tried the Mederma products and nothing really helped....

That's neat! I wonder if it would help an old scar? I have one from about 15 years ago that's fading, but at this rate I'll be dead before it's gone!

Thanks Renee... I was just about to try the Mederma on my c-section scar, but now I think I will try this instead.

That's pretty interesting... and good to know if I ever need to get rid of a scar. :) I've seen this advertised on tv and often wondered if it really worked... good to know that it does. :)

Thanks, Renee...

My c-section scar always faded really well within about a yr - I was always so amazed by that. LOL Plus I figure it's so low no one will ever really see it.

Ditto that! My surgeon for my second C actually cut out the previous incision. His sewing skills were excellent, he did a purse string close and it was a thing of beauty. Then my third C some "student" put so many staples in me it you'd of thought I was a bulletin board, lol.

My dr did that, too! LOL Only I didn't know that was his "trick" until I had dd. We always laughed at my appt's after I had my kids when he was so (humbly)impressed with his "work". LOL

We tried the Curad patches on ds cheek when he got hurt a hockey last season. Started off with a nasty looking scar but can hardly notice it now unless you know it was there and really look for it.
