It is raining cats and dogs!! Been raining off and on since yesterday am, but really started coming down (thunder boomers and everything about 2 hours ago). should be fun at work. can't remember what time I get off..probably 9 or so. have tomorrow off. another load of pumpkins are coming in to unload at 4..they were supposed to be here yesterday at 1, but due to rain up in NM the truck got delayed to 8 pm and then again to today..not sure how our rain here is going to effect it.

Got up and cleaned the kitchen. Have laundry going too. I have so much to do in the house and just don't want to. :rolleyes: I need to go return a movie, but I'm afraid if I leave the house today I won't to anything when I get home. LOL

Ann- wet pumpkins should be fun to unload. (not) That could be a slippery mess.

Need to be at the church by 1 to let the photographer in. Then we get our pics done tonight, for the church year book sort of thing. After that, home to watch Prison Break. No other big plans outside of the laundry I didn't get around to this weekend. lol Supposed to be sunny so if it is, I may go for a walk after taking ds3 to school. Or before and he can ride his bike. :)

Ann - Is Starbucks selling pumpkins?

It is supposed to pour rain today here. The kids have a half day, I have bible study and a couple of errands to run. I was hoping to have an afternoon at the zoo, but that is out now with the weather forecast.

All 3 of us are dragging this morning, still pooped from the weekend.
Off to work then laundry when I get home then off to Hallmark and dh has a church meeting tonight. I guess dd goes to my mom's while we're busy.

Ann, will work be slower b/c of the weather or do you see it pick up, the worse the weather is. I'd guess it would pick up.

It's cold here this morning! Less than 60 degrees in the house. Poor ds2 woke up cold last night so I piled some more blankets on him. Dh built another fire in the fireplace before he left for work this morning. :*

I soooo want to crawl back into bed and go back to sleep. The house is a pit again and that's my main goal for today, to get it back into shape. Dd1 leaves tomorrow morning, so she'll be doing last minute packing and as much schoolwork as she can cram in. :)

Need to drop some things off at a friend's house and help her run the vac. I'm hoping to avoid a trip downtown to drop off my fundraiser stuff at the preschool, but if Mom isn't going down then I'll have to. We'll see.

Am I awake? I'm not sure...slept sitting up in the recliner last night.

Doctors office called last night because the doctor had an emergancy and wouldn't be back intime for my appointment. I asked if I would still get in today..she said..well whats going on I told her and she put me in @11:45 but then told me to come in at 11:15 so that the Med assistant can get me all worked up...if I need chest xray or breathing treatment.

I had told work saturday that I probably wouldn't be in today...but I call last night and let my head teacher know the situation. I don't want to take another day.

Anyway that's my day.

up and showered....tired today...work, home, dinner with the family....not really exciting...

Dh is going to ds's parent teacher conference this morning, DH can make it early so its at 7:30 AM...yikes...DD's teacher is calling me at 2:30 PM to do hers over the phone...(she said it wasn't necessary to see me in person as it won't be a long one) I assume that, this is a good thing...LOL...

Quiet morning - dd is watching Barney and I should be taking advantage of that and getting something done, but sitting here is much more appealing. LOL

Work tonight and that's about it. :)

Yes, wet pumpkins will be fun! Now it's more of an issue here cause of the flooding, thunder and lightening.
Angie, this is our church's pumpkin patch.
Sista, today it was really slow inside, but the drive through was hopping. It's weird though, we have had worse flooding and been really busy.

Well the doctor gave me a nebulizer treatment and more asthma meds....and I was going to stay home but after an hour nap I felt guilty not going so I went in late. Feel better but any exertion and I start hacking.....but atleast it calmed down a bit.

Not much going on here today. dn and dd#4 both have colds and slept most of the day. At least they seemed in pretty good moods when they were awake. ds and dh just got home from hockey. dd#1 finishing up her homework so we can watch 7th Heaven together tonight. I haven't been too into this season so far, but love the time to just hang out with dd so it's all good to me. I was worried we might lose some of the close bond now that she is getting older, but she still wants to hang out with dear old Mom, so I will take it while it lasts.
