Mornin' Y'all,
I am just about to throw some biscuits in the oven. Then it is off to do laundry. Have to do all sheets again!! The lice is gone, but the little buggers got me all worked up. Don't want them to come back!!
Then I am off to work on a lesson for Sunday School. Just a busy day. Maybe, I can get dh to throw something on the grill for dinner tonight. It looks like it will be a great day - weather wize!!
Morning Kacee! Try washing ya'lls hair once a week in tea tree oil shampoo..that's supposed to help be a deterrant.
Painters didn't come yesterday so they are here this am hammering away as they put up the crown moulding..very loud around here!!!
Have dd's birthday party this afternoon, and then we are supposed to be going to a party in honor of our retiring cub scout pack leader, I don't really want to go, but I am supposed to bring an appetizer.
I'll take some of that great weather. It's snowing and blowing here but it's supposed to not amount to much. It figures that the first day of vacation would have me shoveling. The last time we had real snow (the kind that you have to work out to remove) was Christmas break. I guess it's good exercise....yuk!

Thanks for the advice. I have a herbal spray that has tea tree oil in it that I am spraying everywhere. I am also trying Head and Shoulders. I was told that 2 times a week will as discourage them. Sooo... I have been using it every night. Darn it all though; Head and Shoulders makes my head itch!! The lice comb has been coming out clean though, so I feel confident that they are gone.

Howdy,
I think that I could take some snow!! I love to watch it fall down. Especially the big moist flakes. They are so beautiful.
I am not looking forward to weeding the flower beds though!! There is always so kind of work to do. This must be living!!
I think I have some of these under this "beautiful" snow somewhere. We don't even think about gardens until the end of April and don't start until the end of May. I will agree, though, the snow can look very pretty. But the cold and wet that goes with it are too much. (And for toooo long!)

Kacee - Hope the lice stays away for you!
Ann- Hope dd's party goes well! :) I bet you're getting anxious for all of the remodeling at your house to be done! It'll all be worth it!!
Cathy - ITA about the snow and weather!! I'm in MN and it has been SO cold the past few days. Ugh! A flower bed sounds delightful right about now! :)
We are heading to my mom's later today and watching my little brother's hockey game tonight. It should be fun. The kids can't wait to see everyone even though we were just there last wknd! :)
Have a good wknd everyone!!

Good morning everybody! It sounds like all of you are having a busy day. Bummer about the head lice! Just the thought of it makes me feel itchie and scratchie. One of my day care kids had it about a month ago, so I know exactly what you're going through. Ugh!
My youngest dd was asked to the "Snowball" dance, which is tonight... so now she's walking around the house all nervouse. LOL Her and I went out and found her a nice formal gown... it's BEAUTIFUL and she looks SO pretty IN it. (I can't believe my BABY is growing up :( LOL) What's so funny is that she's liked this boy for over 2 months and she didn't think he even knew she existed... About two weeks ago they were assigned to be lab partners in Biology and she was just thrilled. LOL They ended up having to stay after school one night and he offered to drive her home. She said he seemed real nervous and he hardly said a word all the home... and then about a block away he finally got up the nerve to ask her if she would consider going with him to the dance... Here, he's had a crush on her since the beginning of the school year. LOL Gosh... to be that age again! Brings back such memories. LOL So yeah, now she's all nervous that were going to embarrass her with the camera... LOL I'm excited for her but it's fun watching her run around trying to make everything so perfect. She's got a hair appointment at 1:00 so I'm hoping she finds a way she likes to have her hair done. LOL
Anyway, I hope you all have a GREAT day. I think I'm going to just stay in the house and clean. It's -5 degrees and the windchill is -18 so... I'm staying in where it's warm. I'm SO ready for Spring! Take care...

Your post sure brought back a rush of high school memories!!!!! :) Hope your dd has a wonderful time tonight!!!!
p.s. It is absolutley freezing, isn't it? It's hard to even leave the house! Ugh!
Diane...how sweet!! but aren't you glad you don't have to do those days over again!!!! LOL
Cathy..our azaleas are starting to bloom! LOL
I look forward to seeing some things bloom....Way forward. We always have summer here--at least one or two days! Seriously the summers here are so wonderful that it's worth putting up with 8 months of winter dreariness. I have to keep reminding myself that "this too shall pass".
dh took ds to a good friend of mine who's daughter is having her first child this May....we are giving her one of our cribs, a toddler bed and car seat, that I had in the Barn.....feels so good to help someone else out with things that are in great shape and not being used....we are keeping one of the kids cribs until I am in Menopause just in case...LOL..
Freezing weather here....snowy, and very windy, Cathy I too wonder if I still have flower beds under neath my frozen tundra....
Cathy where are you? what state...lol
