Mattresses and box springs

Ok question for ya. I need to get both kids new beds.....when you buy a matress do you need to get a new box spring?

I always have. Our springs always have seemed to be worn out by the time the mattress is. How do the springs look?

Depends on the bed they have. With the bed the boys have now, none of them need a box spring. I would only get a new box spring if the old one needed to be replaced since you can always get one later if you need to. Here they are always having seperate mix and match sales.

Our springs always looked as good as they did the day we bought them, so no... we didn't. IF they hadn't, then yes... definitely would have invested the $$, but they're expensive and why spend money when you don't really have to?
