Yes. Toothpaste. It works! Only the paste kind, the gel won't work.

As funny/weird as it may sound... I've heard it works too. You're going to have to let us know how it works. LOL

I've also done rubbing alcohol...just don't do it to much....you'll dry out your skin.

Ok I used Crest paste....still a red bump, seems like it would work for a normal zit, unfotunetly I have the PMS Grandma growing there....you know the one that never gets a white head, just a red sore bump....argh....seems better than yesterday though.....wonder what everyone would say if I wore more toothpaste today to work... NOT!

ROFL! I was temping in an office once that had mouthwash in the ladies restroom. I thought it was hand lotion. My hands were minty fresh for a while.

I am ROFL! I have never heard them referred to as that!!! I get 'em every month. Thought those issues would leave with age, but no such luck. I buy Clean and Clear Invisible Blemish Treatment - it doesn't turn white when it dries and I love that. :) Still chuckling to myself at the Grandma comment. Can't wait to share it with my sis!!
Here is one for ya from the office, two of the more mature ladies at work told me that with age things start drying up, well except for our blemish oil...LOL...GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never had issues with zits... but within the past year or two have started getting horrible back pain that knocks me right down for a few day's. I just hate it, but at least you can't see back pain. I guess I could put Ben Gay on it though and smell awful. LOL

Those cystic zits are hormonal, I believe. I had big problems each month with that (right during the ole PMS time)...and ended up going back on b.c. pills (and for another issue). My skin has really cleared and I'm not getting that type of acne each month anymore. I know exactly what you're talking about...painful, sore, "undergrounder" zit!!! Yep. I never found anything that worked well to make them go away.
Also...I NEVER suffered from acne issues until I turned 39 or 40. What a pain!!

I was on antibiotics for a while for acne. You really can't do that long term, though cuz then your body builds up a resistence and you could end up with some funky infection that you can't get rid of.
Now its a dry red spot on my chin....argh.....will it never end....LOL...
never really made it to ZIT status in my book.....just more ugly than anything....

Renee, I've considered buying a Zeno Acne Treament thingy for a while but they're pretty expensive. I saw one at Wal-Greens yesterday for $150, and thought about it again, until I read this:
http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/review/zeno_acne_treatment
I tried the washcloth method that the dermatologist recommended, and after just once, it seems to be working for me. I can't hurt, and its free!
