School schedual next week

I just figured out that the kids will go full day Monday, 1/2 day Tues. and are off Wed. Thurs. and Friday.....WOW how cool for them, wonder why they just didn't get the week off though? dh is off Thurs, and Friday....

What is your school schedual like for the Thanksgiving week?

Our schools haven't ever given a week off for Thanksgiving. Only Thurs. and Fri. I remember though when I was in school getting a week off for that and three weeks off for Christmas. I wonder what the mandatory days were back when we were kids? Now it's 180 and it seems like it's about twice that sometimes. :rolleyes:

we have half day wednesday and thursday and friday. Guess that way they figure the parents can pack on wednesday while kids are in school...If traveling.

ours was around 180 when we were kids...give or take a day or two.

I've got kids in 2 different school districts and they're all off all week.

Our kids have Thursday and Friday... but I know of a lot of families who are taking Wednesday or half of, because they're going out of town for Thanksgiving.

My kids only go Monday next week. Dh has students Mon and Tues. We have extra days off because of conferences.
