What's up for the wknd?

Today was dh's last day of school! :yippee: We have a few of his students graduation parties to hit this wknd and I am going out with a few friends later tonight. :) We also are puppysitting for my sister's dog, but that's about it. If it's nice we may head to the lake. It's just nice not having a million things going on and being able to just kind of do what we want to when we want to. :D

We're off to Paramount Canada's Wonderland on Sunday!!! You may remember we were going a few weeks ago but ds came down with chicken pox. We are going to get a season pass while we are there since we will be living a lot closer. The kids love the waterpark. dh loves the rollar coasters. dd should be tall enough to get on most of them with him this year. We are going with one of my co-workers and her family. Should be fun.
We are invited to a BBQ and Pool party tomorrow at SIL's place. We will likely go. Dh is going golfing with his buddies in the morning. Lucky me I get to take the kids to gymnastics, wait around for ds for two hours (dd will come home with sil when she is finished), go grocery shopping, and all the lovely little chores that I have been neglecting all week.

Looks like Tropical Storm Allison wasn't finished with us after all! She has turned into just a weather system, but has sort of turned around and is heading back this way. We are having flooding all over the city, fortunately not here, but it is sure raining it's little behind off! We are supposed to go to a party tomorrow night, but it's up where it is flooding really badly now, so between this darn cold of mine that seems to want to ruin all my grown up fun and Allison, it looks kind of doubtful.
Other than that, not much on.

AnnW - I saw on the news all the rain you were getting. Yikes! I heard the US is in for a big hurricane season this year.

We aren't doing much this weekend. Laundry and housecleaning mostly. :grimace:

I wish Allison had given us a little rain. We got alot of clouds and humidity but not one drop of rain. Southern part of the state got some.
I bought a steam cleaner tonight so I guess while dh is fishing in a tournament tomorrow, I'll be cleaning the carpets.
Pool party to go to with youth group, our monthly SNAC (Sunday Night After Church). That's about it for us.

Hi all! Trying to catch up on the board....you all have been busy! :lol:

We had dd bday party for her friends yesterday and one friend sleep over last night.....they had a blast!

Off this aftnoon to an open house at the summer camp that the girls will be attending. They are sooooo excited to be going to a camp that they can take horsemanship! And it is only 10 miles away. I used to attend this camp when I was 10-13 yrs old and am looking forward to seeing it again too!

Hot, hot, hot here finally. Feels like summer.

Kids are in the midst of multiple field trips....I am totally missing out on all of them because I am working now! :bawling:
I used to go on all of them. My mil has volunteered to go with the kids on three of them.....she loves doing stuff with the kids.
