OMG! My dd will do this too! It freaks me out.
I always were some sort of nightgown or jammies
Ds-would go commando every night if I didn't watch him like a hawk. I try at least to get him in underwear with a man sized t-shirt.
Dh-was the commando king, but at least wears something now in case of a fire or someone breaks into the house. LOL

i know it shouldn't bother me that she sleeps in her clothes, but it just seems so sloppy! LOL
why won't you let your ds go commando?
why won't you let your ds go commando?
Because the bed and every other part of the house needs to be protected from his butt cheeks! LOL

We're kind of a hodge podge around here. In fact we were commenting last night on how not all women could pull off the flannel scottie dog pj bottoms and t-shirt combo I was wearing!
I wear mens pj bottoms (find they fit me better in the length, but then the butt area is huge, lol) and long sleeve cotton shirts that I've stopped wearing as clothes (t-shirts in summer).
Dh will either wear pj bottoms or his boxers.
ds wears pj bottoms and a t-shirt or his boxers and a t-shirt.

Dh always sleeps in his underwear. I'm in a mix of things, sometimes it's real pj's, could be silk or cotton, and sometimes it's a pair of dh's sweatpants and his t-shirt or sweatshirt depending on how cold I am. lol I use to wear nightgowns but am not crazy on them. I like the little silk ones but only in the summer when the air isn't on.
The boys will wear pj's if I make them, ds1 prefers boxers. Even after telling the boys to put on pj's I still find them in bed fully clothed. Ann, it drives me crazy too. lol

LOL about dd, Ann! I went through an I HATE MORNINGS phase around 11 or so and would shower at night, get dressed for the NEXT DAY (socks and shoes included--sometimes a jacket, too) and I'd sleep ON TOP of my bedspread with a blanket and when my mom called me in the morning, I'd roll the blanket into a ball and shove it under my bed, brush my teeth, and go and sleep on the sofa until it was time to leave!

When I did day care I had a lot of parents who would put their kids to bed in sweatsuits so all they'd have to do in the morning was to wake them up and bring them. Their kids weren't ever in the best moods right away in the mornings, and it helped the parents time wise not having to deal with all those morning issues.

Mickey, that is a riot!
Diane, I can understand why the parents would do that, especially when they are really young.

I thought it was a great idea because it gave mom time to get ready for work in peace and quiet, the kids got to sleep in a little later... and they were all in a much better mood by the time they got over to my house. Everyone was happy. :)

Ewww dh sleepin' nekkid creeps me out! He says he used to when he was "younger". Whatever.
He and I feel the same though, if there was a fire or something, he'd need to jump and run and it'd be best if he were covered up. lol
So... he sleeps in boxers and a t-shirt or pj pants and a t-shirt.
I am the pajama queen. I can't have enough pjs. I love to sleep in flannels in the cold months and cotton ones in the hot months. I also do like Bev, and sleep pants with t-shirts I don't wear anymore get a resurection as jammies. :)

LOL! I'm with you on this one!
The thought of taking clothes off just to sleep just sounds weird to me! I've never understood the need for this. Why do they do it? Do they feel restricted in clothes when they sleep?

LOL..why do you need clothes to sleep? Aren't you taking off one set of clothes and putting on another just to sleep? (well, unless you are my daughter! LOL)

Normally, I sleep in boxers and tshirt or my favorite silk pajamas. But most nights if it's been one of those late nights working on the school paper, i will just crawl into bed with my clothes on (shame on me, i know ).
I think as I've gotten older, I love pajamas. I don't know why, but I do. When I go into Walmart the first thing I do is check to see if they have any new pjs to buy.

I wear a tee and underwear - can't stand long sleeves or pants getting twisted when I sleep.
Dd is always in jammies.
Boys and dh wear boxers and tees.

That's why I can't wear the longer night shirts.... I wake up with it twisted around my legs... or lurking in a bunch around my waist. LOL
