Good Sunday morning everyone!!
I'm up early because ds knocked over a side table in his sleep that had an open bottle of water on it. After that I couldn't get back to sleep. I'm enjoying the quiet time though. We went to church last night so we don't have anything to do until life group tonight. I will be doing lots and lots of laundry though... I've been a laundry slacker this week.
Have a wonderful day all!

Was up early to put Bambi in the crock pot. Fil and his wife are coming today as well as sil and her gang or maybe just her and her dd. Need to chase everyone in the shower on time this am for church. I see an afternoon nap in my future. Hope you all have a good day :)
Angie, just when I think I'm near the end I find another hamper or two of laundry. Can't wait for summer when all it is to be done are t's, shorts and small stuff. No matching socks and big sweaters to find room for in the dressers! :)

:biglaugh:
Morning, girls are up...dh and ds are sleeping. I am getting some quiet time on the puter :computer: Got donuts for breakfast....its cool out side 42, high should be around 65, but at least its not Freezing.
I agree with you Mel, I am ready for summer weather again....actually I am ready for summer vacation. I want to sit on the beach with my dh and watch the kids in the surf.
Finishing up the laundry today, and then wathching the red carpet with dd its become a thing with us...just like it was with my mother...its fun to find out what styles dd likes, she always tells me what she thinks first....that's how my mother watched with me, that way I get to hear her opinion of the styles, I don't her to just say oh I like that too...
Hope everyone has a great Sunday!

Morning. Fun time last night. Late night last night. LOL
The girls loved the shirts and had a blast bowling. They were still up at 2:30... that's the last I remember hearing them.
They're fed and out on the trampoline and will start going home in the next 30 mins.
Dh went out to get gas and has a completely flat tire. :(
I'll head to Blockbuster later for some movies and couch time. Ahhhh....
Good morning. Jen, glad the b-day party was a great success. Renee, enjoy the red carpet with your dd (could you actually "go" to watch?). Mel, hope you get time for a nap and Angie...I'll be right along beside you doing laundry  .
So my day consists of housework since I slacked all week...laundry, floors, bathroom. I've also become addicted to Sudoku puzzles and so ds and I have been doing them together...which is fun, so today will consist of those too.

LOL People actually camp out at the red carpet site for up to 72 hours....
Its so much more comfortable cuddled up in the bed with my blanket and best girl....

DH loves these puzzles too...I always feel like I am doing homework....enjoy them...

We've got SO MUCH SNOW here... it is just pathetic. :( Dh is out snowblowing the driveway and I'm sitting here on the computer in my nice warm pj's. :) All the neighbor kids are outside climbing the mountains of snow... it's times like this that I miss my kids being that age. I remember how they couldn't wait to get outside on day's like this. They'd be out there for hours playing, and then when they finally did come in they would be so darn cold, and their boots would be so full of snow. :) I'd always have a nice cup of hot chocolate waiting for them. Yep... those were the good old day's. LOL
Treadmill, gotta look through all the wedding stuff to see what I have and what I still need to get. I got halfway though it all last week and ended up putting it all back because I ran out of time. :) I have the whole day today so no excuses. LOL
Hope you all have a great day!

There were day's that I would purposly set my alarm clock about an hour earlier than everyone else just so I could have some nice quiet time to myself. Always loved the peace before they'd all wake up. LOL

Sounds like your dd and her friend had a good time. :) Enjoy your time with dd.
I'm home again with ds1, the others are at church. It's soooo quiet! :D No big plans today, just a bit of housework here and there.
Jenn, I'm glad the party went well! Enjoy a relaxing afternoon. :)
Mel, enjoy Bambi!

Angie, what's life group?
It's what our church calls small groups or FISH (Fellowship In Someone's House) groups. They just changed the name of it to life group. We just joined in January to a group of families that meets twice a month on Sunday's. We have a bible study and dinner. Tonight we are having a "Thanksgiving feast." I am taking rolls and mashed potatoes. We may be hosting next month in our house. It'll be fun! I'm sure I'll be asking for ideas!
sounds nice. what are you studying?

Fil couldn't believe that I was eating leftover beef from the other night instead of deer. LOL He thought it was funny. I have to admit, it did smell good. I cooked it with rosemary and thyme. Made a gravy. It was a big roast so lots left over. Had a nice visit. Fil brought me a dresser (he is amazing at making furniture, have never had to buy a dresser, coffee table or such items). So that is going to ds3 and the baby will have ds3's dresser. Tried hard to nap but indigestion kept me awake even though I took some Tums. Side is still a little tender from pulling a muscle the other night so am taking it easy today. Tons to do though and I really feel like I'm running out of time. ack! Concerned about fil, he's pretty red in the face, even top of his hands. Think it's blood pressure and he did say he was going to see the doc this week but he's vague on giving us answers. A friend died yesterday, was in his 80's. Dh knew him well from euchre (he would sit at the door with dh and sell tickets and joke with everyone) and they are both Knights. He was very involved in the church community and will be missed greatly.
Since we had such a big lunch I don't know what to do about dinner. Not used to it being turned around. lol Thinking soup/sandwhiches.
Jen, glad the party went so well. :)
Renee, I love watching for the dresses. Have a great time with your dd.

sounds nice. what are you studying?
We are studying Acts right now, but the next study we do will be a more topical study from the HomeBuilders studies. I am finding that all the women in our group love to cook and I love that!!

How neat that your fil builds furniture, what a treasure to have! I am so sorry for the loss of your friend.
