Sista- you're good at this...
Dd is having a pool party/sleep over for her 13th b-day. I need help with the wording. That kids will all meet at our house, we'll have lunch and we will be taking them swimming. Home for dinner, cake, ice cream and then the sleep over.
Any suggestions???
sounds like a fun party but are you a fool??? a party that starts at noon and ends the next day???!!! :nervous:
pack your bags, toss in your swim suit
that's as far as i can get! LOL

I agree with Ann that it does seem like a long party. What's your time frame?? How long will you be swimming? I'd be tempted to have them come AFTER lunch (one less meal to serve), and do a late afternoon swim followed by dinner, etc.
How many guests??

I don't have anything to add for invites but I agree. Hello! lol I would do the swimming later in the afternoon without having them for lunch. Not only one less meal to figure out/clean up after but this gives you more time to relax before the party starts and you won't have a group of kids over wound by the end of the day! Good luck.

Why're ya'll giving her a hard time about how long she has the party? LOL 13 year olds can not only feed themselves, they can clean up after themselves and entertain themselves. :)
Besides, if they are going to swim all afternoon, they'll be pretty relaxed afterwards.
Go for it Jen, you'll keep them in check, I'm sure, and dd will enjoy it all.

Guess I just don't have that much patience when it comes to that many kids for that long! :biglaugh: Well, not inside anyhow. It's one thing if it's summer and you can kick them outside.
I forgot they are 13. Guess then you don't have kids coming to you whinning over being bored, tired, hungry, entertain us!!!

No, I'm not insane. LOL There will be 3 girls plus dd then one of the brothers to one to the girls is coming so ds will have someone to hang out with. So 4 girls and 2 boys total. (dd would have invited the boy for swimming because we are friends with the family. I'm letting him spend the night to stay out of dd's way! lol) We live 45 minutes to an hour away from the pool. We will be at the pool for 3 hours. Then we'll drive home. They are old enough to not be a pain at this age and I know all the kids but 1 and they are all good kids. I figured I'd serve lunch before we go so I know they have eaten as I'm not paying for food at the pool.
Sista- it's the 10th at 11.

This is a hard one. I had a tough time doing dd's.
I'll take it to work with me and see what I can piece together.
There are all sorts of good "starts" but then the rhymes hit a dead end for me. We'll come up with something awesome! :)
