We are getting the kids off to school then taking dd#2 to a friends house. I have to be at the hospital at 9. I'm a little freaked out so if you could say a prayer I'd appreciate it, the meds I took last night made me so nauseous and I was up all night with the rest... thanks guys...

Chat with you after...

Good luck Angie, you will do good!!!

rodeo last night was great. it's the 75th anniversary. I am not that big of a George Strait fan, but he put on an awesome show. Even got on a horse at the end of the show and road around the arena shaking hands with fans.

dd has early dismissal today. tonite she has a choir performance. in between, i need to do laundry, dust and go to the grocery store.

Trip to Tucson today. Dd1 has a retainer check, Mom has a Dr. appt. and I have an eye appt. this afternoon. I'm going to give contacts one last try. I'm hoping they'll work this time. I wore them from age 11 - 22, but quit when I was pregnant with dd1. Tried them again about ten years ago and they were soooo uncomfortable. This time the doc will put me in toric lenses, so hopefully that will make a difference. :) Might take the kids to the zoo before my eye appt., but I don't know.

Angie, the prep is typically the worst part, so today should be better. Have Brich get you a tasty lunch. :)

Dermotologist appt. this am, errands and I need to see the elementary school's guidance counselor. Dh and I are frustrated at the lack of middle school info that has gone home so far. We have received the "join the band... chorus... orchestra" letter but no dates of when it has to be decided or anything.
Dd said this a.m. "oh I meant to tell you, today is the day I have to decide if I want to do orchestra so I can get fitted for a violin, viola, etc.".
She's pretty much decided on chorus but I still want more info on what we get to decide and when we have to have our decisions made on stuff.

welcome to middle school!!! LOL
hate to tell you, but that is the norm. i think the hardest transistion for us parents is that we are no longer 'in the loop' information wise. it's all part of the concept that the kids are responsible now! LOL

calling the middle school counselor might be a better option. lots of time the elementary school counselors don't know more than the bare minimum.

Angie, good luck today and enjoy real food when you get to eat some!
Sista, it's the norm here too. It is frustrating. I even called the school to find out when an event was and they were clueless at the office it was even taking place!

No big plans today. Just getting some stuff done around the house. Everything at the doc checked out fine yesterday. Not dilated but I suppose that could change fast over the next few weeks. She said the way I am feeling and all the stomach pains are normal and she is surprised I didn't feel that with ds3 especially since I had big babies. I gained one pound in the last 3 weeks. Didn't know that was normal so I started to cry wondering why only one pound. Last time was 7. She said it was a good thing because if it was that much again, she'd be very worried about the size of this baby. lol Felt so stupid, didn't know the weight gain goes up and down, thought it should be more consistant. Can we say emotional wreck yet? LOL

what are torris lenses??

They're for people with astigmatism. Thicker at one edge so the lens doesn't rotate in the eye.

Good luck with the lenses Pam...its always fun to have a new look.
I loved my Toric lenses, seems like now that I am over 40, I don't even bother to wear the contacts anymore, especially since I am on the puter so much at work...I get that dry eye....

Dawn's got an appointment at 11:00 so I'll be getting Sarah somewhere between 10:00/30. It's suppose to snow today... thought it was suppose to have started already this morning, which is the reason why I wasn't going to dh's aunts house to clean... but it's not suppose to start until some time this afternoon now. I've been waiting for her to call me asking me to come now, but seeing I've already made other plans...

Gotta get some house cleaning done today after Sarah gets picked up. I recorded AI last night... I got to see most of it but missed the beginning because Dawn/Sarah were still here, so am going to listen to them and probably FF to a few of the other ones. If Sanjaya Malakar doesn't get the boot on Wednesday night I'll really be surprised. IMO he's just awful! Sundance sure did a LOT better... but then again, they all did. (they needed to) LOL Can't wait to hear the girls tonight... :)

Anyway... hope you all have a great day today!

Tired, got all the food shopping done, made Chicken soup with french bread for dinner.....it was another late for us here dinner wise....I never did get that load of laundry started....oh well....

American Idol has been intersting I still think the gals sound better than the boys, even after last night. I think that one kid Sanjaya...he reminded me of Michael Jackson, he didn't sing that bad, just too soft and MJ like....right down to his clothing.

Angie hope everything went well.
Diane, hope you had a good day with your grand daughter.

At the beginning I thought the girls were SO much better than the guy's were... but the guy's really came through the other night. Gal's were GREAT again last night... but I think the judges can sometimes be way too sarcastic. I don't think any of them are THAT bad. :(
