It's too quiet! Are people really just not checking in or isn't there enough to respond to??? No other addicts like me who have to check in daily and miss all of the posts? :newwink:

Not much going on here. It's been an icky week weather wise, but we have made it to the library and park a few times. Yesterday was very humid and sad to say - I haven't even been outside yet today. :blush: I am off to run errands, so I will soon find out if it's as humid today. Hope everyone is having fun whatever they are doing. :)

I was wondering the same thing too!!!

We have our last swim meet tonite, and it is really hot and humid. They are predicting major mosquito problems for the rest of the summer due to the flood...that should be fun!

Hi Karla and Ann-
I have checked in once today but didn't post any replies. We have been having weird weather too. It snowed in the mountains yesterday and got down to about 40 degrees here last nite. Not my idea of June weather. :)
Both boys have been taking golf lessons and swimming lessons this week. It gets us up and out of the house by 8am. We are about 2 minutes from the golf course so that is really nice. We had our first baseball game tuesday nite and we have another one tonite. The boys are on the same team and I help coach so it is pretty easy to get us all there. The boys have tae kwon do tonite before baseball. They are grumbling about that. I swear my younger ds would never leave this house if I didn't make him.
dh is off to a golf tournament in WY until late saturday nite so it is going to be lazy time around here.
Ann hope the swim meet goes well. It seems so weird to me that you are finishing up summer activities. Karla-hope the errands went well.
I will check back after baseball.

It tried to get on this morning but couldn't get into the message boards for some reason. I've had a crazy day caring for 4 extra kids. My neighbors came over for a while and her son fell and hit his chin. He ended up with 3 stitches. Now I am in the office alone listening to the ocean surf (on cd) hoping that dinner will magically appear!!

Well, for a little while anyway. dk's will be home from gymnastics in about a half hour. Poor things, I hated sending them tonight. I gave the the choice of a night off but they insisted on going, so let them go ahead. At least it is air conditioned.
Major heat wave today. 33 C or 91.4 F + the humidex which at this time (7:30 pm) is still 39 C or 102.2 F.
I am very greatful for airconditioning. The air quality is way down too. We kept the daycare kids indoors all day, talk about a bunch of wound up little monkeys this afternoon. I was glad when 4:00 came and I could go home. (being trapped in a room with 23 three year olds who have not got out side in almost two days is not fun)
